Sometimes I wonder
What life is all about -
The passing of time
That everyone seems to be aware of
But can't say where it goes
Sometimes we say it is in the past
And past decisions and memories kept it
Sometimes life seems to stop
When at crossroads that confuse us
We can't move forward
Neither can we move backwards
And there are times
That are darker than nights -
Blue and dreary with hopes in the ditch
May life remember to shine
its light on us
When we don't see a way forward
And when we are confused
And even when friends leave
And no one trusts us
May the divinity give to us
The ability to prove ourselves...
