Photography: Ice caves from my Winter weekend walk along the Rideau.
Here are a few photos from my regular winter weekend walk with Lola on the Rideau River up here in Canada,
The ice is melting so we need to be very careful these days. Staying mostly along the shore.
We discovered some really cool Ice caves from the shifting ice...
I always loved exploring the Ice caves formed along the shores of Lake Superior every winter. Some were large enough to walk into. Very dangerous though. You need to be very very careful. Best to just look inside with a flash light.
These photos are from the garden where the snow is melting around the trees, and Lola has some new moss and pine needles to explore....
Every season has new discoveries for Lola .... last spring she was just a 2 month old puppy. Now she is 14 months old.
We stayed out until dark. It was a good thing we had a lantern to find our way back.
Great
Thank you very much.
You welcome
Nice photos, We never got anything like this down here this year
Yeah we have had a pretty good snowy, Icey winter so far. Lots of snowshoeing and skating ....
