Behind The Photo contest - Edition # 8 / UNERG natural spaces
This would be my first entry is the @behinthephoto contest, which is sponsored by @appreciator and judged by @nelyp and @johan.norberg. I find quite interesting the idea of making known the story behind those photos, some of them planned, others taken in a fortuitous way, but all of them with something to tell.
The pictures I show below were taken at the Economic Sciences area of the Universidad Nacional Experimental Rómulo Gallegos (UNERG) in San Juan de los Morros Estado Guárico, which has some artificial lakes in its surroundings.
Three years ago we had a rather severe drought in Venezuela, which resulted in these lagoons being completely dry, which generated some sadness in some inhabitants of the city and even more so in those who make life in that faculty.
Recently some friends and I took a walk around and could see that last year's rains were generous in bringing them back to life.
For me it is gratifying to see them again so beautiful, plus that particular day I was able to capture a circular rainbow around the sun, which had many people fascinated the whole time it lasted.
It is of great importance to maintain this type of ecosystem, during our walk we could observe a lot of garbage, and people throwing rocks at the animals that make life in these lakes. I hope that one day soon we will become aware of this.
