Making a classy Dress from my African print Ankara Fabric
Hi Steemit
Today is my off day at work and fashion school, I decided to pass the time at home making an elegant dress from my African print Ankara Fabric for my esteemed customer.
First I drafted her body measurement into a pattern on a brown paper just to get the blue print of what am making.
I then transfered the patterns to the fabric by placing my papers on it and cutting them out.
On my subsequent post for this dress I will show us how I am adding interface on the fabric and its lining for stiffness and desired shape, stay tuned!
I have no table at home and had to do all my cuttings on the rug, never mind the background 😊, it may be against work ettiquette.
I am having the fun of my life, working and posting at my leisure time and am highly encouraged by your likes and upvotes.☺☺☺
I am grateful, thank you all.
