• Its another beautiful morning here in Ilorin Kwara state, we have been gifted another day of the days of our lives and here is a divine opportunity to live good and impact lives.

• Today am showing us a short course on how we make a ready to wear fashion line also called Ready made cloths here. Fashion here at first involves having to wait for a client to bring us clothes before we sew amd make profit from it. But the waiting is time wasting and when we dont get client on time business is heading to a loss, besides the number of client determines how much money we make. This is very though and highly competitive.

• Ready to wear fashion is now an advanced process where the desighner goes to the market, get fabrics and make clothes from standard body measurements , this doesn't target a single client as multiple client with same measurement as the clothes are potential buyers.

• These clothes are left on display to attract passing buyers and they could also be branded and taking to boutiques or fashion stores for sale.
  Three important steps are involved in making these clothes in as much as the goal is to make profit .

Buying of quality fabrics

The aim of these is to buy something customer worthy and at affordable price. Different types of fabric exist and the purpose for each must be known before they are bought

Designing and making them to attractive clothes

The class of clients targeted and type of fabric determies what we design fabrics into. The purpose of the cloth is also important, maybe we want to be making wedding dresses as ready to wear for display and sales to brides to be.

Work process

Costing of finished product.

To cost a finished cloth we add up the following prices

1. Cost of buying fabrics
2. Cost of material added in making the cloth, like zips and embroidery
3. Percentage from electricity or store rentage bills placed on each cloths ( this is put togther at end of the year and used to settle the bills.)
4. Time it took to make the cloth
5. A specific amoung we charge for the skill used in cutting and desighning the cloth
6. profit we want to make from sewing and finishing the clothes, this usually varies so as to reduced the end product price and make them more customer friendly.
