Figure Drawing - African Lady (018)
Hi everyone!
It has been a little while I created a figure drawing. Today, I decided to make this piece. It's a drawing of an African Lady on traditional atire squatting down with a local pot of water.
I started by by sketching out her posture and made some corrections. Thereafter, I shaded the darkest parts starting from the pot before finishing the other parts.
For the face? I deliberately opted not to add it because it is a figure drawing and the main focus is on the posture.
The work was was done with a blue ballpoint pen on an A4 paper.

I don't know how to answer you that. I think everyone is a student provided we are still learning. Well, I didn't study art under the four walls of classroom but as an appreciate. I studied Accounting and Finance.
So that's it.

Not at all....I practiced art under three professionals artists as an appropriate even before and while still in college. After college, I also stayed under another professional artist before relocating to another town. Now I'm working alone and improving on myself. I hope to get my own stidio soon.
