Today I present a photographic series made a few days ago to a caterpillar of white tufted moth Leucostigma Orgyia (its name is long and allusive to the result of its metamorphosis) which I found climbing in a tree near my home.

As on previous occasions I prepared to take a few how many captures, so because of its shape and color I found it very interesting and curious and surpresing she was quite fast and she was running around there, resulting in something complicated to capture.

I decided to apply the technique in selective color to further highlight the beauty of the incredible insect, I loved the horns that are formed in the front just above its huge eyes, halfway through the body, other very curious bumps are formed and at the end of the body one more, and all this only with its fur, giving an appearance to almost a toothbrush.

I really liked the result, taking it mostly in profile with the sky behind having equally backlight and applying this edition gave a quite satisfactory result since we can observe in all its splendor to our little wandering caterpilar.
