Sketch / Boceto

The sketch is quite simple, guided by some pictures of diamonds, I saw the characteristic structure of the gemstone, I made several points at each intersection of the vines to help me in the delineation.

El boceto es bastante sencillo, guiándome de algunas fotos de diamantes, fui viendo la estructura característica propia de la piedra preciosa, realice varios puntos en cada intersección de las lianas para ayudarme en el delineado.

Outlined / Delineado

Now we move on to the refining process, at this stage under the opacity of the sketch layer, and I create a new layer for the diamond. With the pencil brush I make straight and clean strokes, helping me with the straight tool and using the symmetry option to get both sides of the image equal.

Ahora pasamos al proceso de refinado, en esta etapa bajo la opacidad de la capa del boceto, y creo una capa nueva para el diamante. Con el pincel lápiz realizo trazos rectos y limpios, ayudándome con la herramienta recta y usando la opción de simetría para obtener ambos lados de la imagen iguales.

Colour / Color

This step is relatively simple, we just use a base heat layer, using a light blue shade and applying it to the whole area of the drawing without going off the line. We also paint certain areas randomly in a purple color, to give more life to the design.

Este paso es relativamente sencillo, solo usamos una capa de calor base, usando un tono azul claro y aplicándolo a toda el área del dibujo sin salirnos de la línea. También pintamos ciertas zonas aleatoriamente de un color violeta, para darle más vida al diseño.

Shadows / Sombras

We use the same shading technique we have been using, we create a clipping layer and modify the mixing method and choose the multiply option, we apply the shadows randomly using the airbrush.

Usamos la misma técnica de sombreado que hemos venido usando, creamos una capa de recorte y modificamos el método de mezcla y elegimos la opción multiplicar, aplicamos las sombras aleatoriamente usando el pincel aerógrafo.

Lights / Luces

We apply again the same technique we used for the shadows, only this time the new layer we modify the mixing method to add, and with the same airbrush we apply small areas of light. Keep in mind that the shadows have to be applied randomly.

Volvemos a aplicar la misma técnica que usamos para las sombras, solo que esta vez la nueva capa modificamos el método de mezcla a añadir, y con el mismo pincel aerógrafo vamos aplicando pequeñas zonas de luz. Tengan en cuenta que los brillos los tienen que aplicar aleatoriamente.

Background / Fondo

For the background recreate a theme of a galaxy surrounded by some spheres, with the airbrush draw randomly different shades of violet, leaving the dark areas below and the lighter ones above.

Para el fondo recree una temática de galaxia rodeado por algunas esferas, con el aerógrafo dibuje aleatoriamente diversas tonalidades de violeta, dejando las zonas oscuras por debajo y las más claras por arriba.

Details / Detalles

We complete our drawing by placing some details, first we create a reflection of the diamond at the bottom, which we lower the opacity to give a translucent effect, we add a flash of light in one of the corners of the diamond, and to finish we draw other spheres in the foreground in a mix mode add.

Completamos nuestro dibujo colocando algunos detalles, primero creamos un reflejo del diamante en la parte inferior, la cual bajamos la opacidad para darle un efecto translucido, agregamos un destello de luz en una de las esquinas del diamante, y para terminar dibujamos otras esferas en primer plano en un modo de mezcla añadir.
