Drawing. Semi- Realistic Princess Mononoke

An animation jewel.

Greetings dear community, welcome to my art blog, again I share with you another work in black and white, but this time taking as a source of inspiration an anime feature film of one of the masterpieces made by the very famous studio Ghibli, I mean the Princess Mononoke, this jewel of animation despite being 23 years old from its release, still remains in force, its fame and prestige increases as the years go by, becoming a cult work. The story tells us how a young prince sets out on a journey into the unknown, in search of the god Deer to cure the curse put on him by a crazed wild boar. On his journey he meets San, a girl raised by wolves, and witnesses the struggle that exists between the animals of the forest against men who are willing to destroy Nature.

This film is closely related to elements of Japanese culture, is a complex work that knows how to adapt myths and traditions with real aspects that were lived in the era of a Japan of the Muromachi period of the 14th century.

Saludos querida comunidad, sean bienvenidos a mi blog de arte, nuevamente les comparto otro trabajo en blanco y negro, pero esta vez tomando como fuente de inspiración a un largometraje de anime de una de las obras maestras realizadas por el muy famoso estudio Ghibli, me refiero a la Princesa Mononoke, esta joya de la animación a pesar de tener 23 años de su estreno, todavía se mantiene vigente, su fama y prestigio aumenta a medida que pasan los años, convirtiéndose en una obra de culto. La historia nos cuenta como un joven príncipe emprende un viaje a lo desconocido, en busca del dios Ciervo para curar la maldición que le propino un jabalí enloquecido, en su travesía se encuentra a San una chica criada por lobos, y presencia la lucha que existe entre los animales del bosque contra hombres que están dispuestos a destruir la Naturaleza.

Esta película está muy relacionada a elementos de la cultura japonesa, es una obra compleja que sabe adaptar mitos y tradiciones con aspectos reales que se vivían en la era de un Japón del período Muromachi del siglo XIV.

This drawing makes a semi-realistic work in black and white of Princess Mononoke, try to capture the essence of the character, for those who have not seen this film, San is a girl with a strong character, somewhat aggressive because as a child was abandoned in the forest, and that is why his hatred of humans, having a cold look, serious and distrustful of others, also in the design add colorful elements, for this use the earrings you wear and add a glowing effect making a nice contrast between the darkness of the forest where she lives. I recommend you to watch this great movie, I hope you like the drawing, without further ado I present you the creation of Princess Mononoke.

Este dibujo realice un trabajo semi-realista en blanco y negro de la Princesa Mononoke, trate de captar la esencia del personaje, para quienes no han visto esta película, San es una chica de carácter fuerte, un tanto agresiva debido a que de pequeña fue abandonada en el bosque, y por eso es su odio hacia los humanos, teniendo una mirada fría, seria y desconfiada ante los demás, además en el diseño agregue elementos coloridos, para esto use los pendientes que usa y les agregue un efecto resplandecientes haciendo un bonito contraste entre la oscuridad del bosque donde ella habita. Les recomiendo mirar esta grandiosa película, espero que les guste el dibujo, sin más que decir les presento la creación de la Princesa Mononoke.

• Brushes: Pencil, Airbrush, Fuzzy, Marker.
