MY OWN SPA AT HOME DURING THE QUARANTINE | TIPS

There are days when we are very stressed and tired, and our first wish is a spa day, right? Nothing better than spending a day taking care of yourself and also putting your head in its place and relaxing.

I am sure that this is the wish of many women in this moment of quarantine, perhaps it is impossible for you to go to a Spa at these times. But, the good news is that we can do a home spa day from the comfort of our home.

Surprisingly, it can come true. How about booking a day of the week and doing a home spa day?

Below are some tips I practiced at home:


1 STRETCH



To start your spa day, it's important that you feel comfortable when you wake up - that is, you don't need to wake up early. Wake up whenever you want, so you can wake up willingly.

Right after waking up, how about stretching? Or even some outdoor Relaxation positions, whichever you prefer!

SELF-MASSAGE



First, to have a more relaxing feeling, sprinkle the eucalyptus in the environment in which you find yourself. Therefore, after stretching the body, the next step is to do a self massage.

So, start with the reflexology technique on the feet and hands. It is through the stimulation of the tips of the hands and feet that the body regulates itself, thus recovering imbalances and improving the immune system.

3 GOOD BREAKFAST



If we are talking about a day at the spa, can't you leave out good food? This day is for taking care of yourself, so look for nutritious and detoxifying breakfast foods. For example: fruits, scrambled eggs, yogurt with granola and chia, orange juice, etc.

At this time, have your breakfast quiet, without the hustle and bustle that gets used to normal days. Then you can eat by reading a book of your choice or listening to music that relaxes you.

4 LONG BATH



The long bathroom serves both a bathtub and a shower. So if you have a bathtub, it's time to get the most out of it. Therefore, fill the bathtub with hot water and do not skimp on the use of foam or bath salts.

Otherwise, take a long shower in the shower, massaging your scalp and exfoliating your body. A special tip is that before opening the shower, drop three drops of lavender essential oil on the shower floor. So when you turn on the shower and the water falls to the floor, you will smell it and it will make you relax.

5 HYDRATION



Hydration is an important process for the health of the skin and hair. So, enjoy your free time and apply a hair mask to your hair, and massage your scalp in circular movements.

Also, for the body, apply a body lotion, such as almond oil, and massage the entire body well. Don't forget to pay special attention to the drier regions, such as shoulders, shins, elbows and knees.

As for the part of the face, it is very interesting to use those facial masks, and after they take effect, massage in circular movements all over the face.



6 TURN OFF ALL ELECTRONIC DEVICES



Remembering, it's a spa day! Therefore, it is important that electronic devices are turned off so that you can rest easy.

According to studies, social media can increase the level of cortisol in your blood, making you more anxious and stressed. So there are no cell phones, tablets and televisions.



7 REST



When we talk about the spa day, it doesn't mean that the whole day does things to us, because it is also exhausting!

So take a day off to rest, however you like. Like taking a nap, reading a book or magazine, watching a movie, etc.
