Making my dog’s day 🐕

Hello everyone. Hope you’re all doing good. The weekend started good for me cause I've been having lately. The weather is also beautiful so there’s not one thing to dislike about this week so far.

These past three months quarantining have been way better than i expected but there are days when i feel down and i wish i could just go out to take a long walk, but then i realize i’m not the only one feeling this way, there’s someone in this house who feels the same way and that’s my dog Puchi. From the moment he wakes up he stares at the street from the window and you can see he just wants to go out so badly and it makes me sad cause i can’t take him out unless i go out to buy some groceries and that’s just a couple of times a week.

I’ve seen him a little down lately and he must be frustrated of not being able to go out. He tries so hard to let me know he wants to go out. From waking me up at 8 am to jump all over me and jump all over the apartment. I felt like he deserves a treat cause he is a good dog. He has a lot of energy in his tiny body and he doesn’t get the chance to go out and let it out. I was at the supermarket the other day and i saw this bone and i knew he would love it but i was just waiting for the day where he was all over the place to calm him down a little bit. And that day came today.

It’s a small treat but it meant the world to him and it makes me happy to see him happy.

They may not be able to speak and communicate like we do but if you pay close attention to them, you’ll realize what they need. He’s very demonstrative of what he wants and i don’t think i spoil him but i do make sure that he gets his basic needs covered and also a fun time. He’s basically the light of this house. He’s constantly showing us how grateful he is and how much he loves us and it feels great to give him something back. He’s a gift in my life and i will make sure he lives a happy and healthy life.
