As part of their 100 Days of Steem initiative, Steemit,Inc announced a new curator account

Earlier today it was announced that the @steemcurator01 account was powered up with roughly 1 million steem and will be used for upvoting the various weekly challenges put out by steemit,inc.

It also looks like this account is currently upvoting those that simply enter the challenges.

So, even if you don't "win" the challenges, it looks like you could still get some votes for your troubles.

They also announced that they would be translating their challenges into different languages as well as putting out another update post later today:
