We have all been affected by the quarantine in one way or another, although it has not really affected me that much because I have never been a person to go out or have so much contact with neighbors and so on, rather I have always been a man of the house XD, but something that if you notice this morning is that in this month (I do not even know how long we have been in quarantine) I have not been very concerned about my personal appearance in general.

Todos nos hemos visto afectados por la cuarentena de una u otra forma, aunque realmente a mí no me ha afectado tanto porque nunca he sido una persona de salir ni tener tanto contacto con vecinos y demás, más bien siempre he sido un hombre de la casa XD, pero algo que si note hoy en la mañana es que en este mes (ya ni se cuánto tiempo llevamos en cuarentena) no me he preocupado mucho que se diga por mi aspecto personal en general.

And as you noticed in the cover photo, not even a haircut and only two shaves (for getting out of the way), the thing is that today, Sunday, I got up and said "no more" today, it's time for a little love! BUT, I'm in quarantine and in a state in the interior of Venezuela which implies that I don't have access to a good shaving cream or a good blade and even less to a hairdresser, so what do I do? Searching the internet means getting products that I don't have and can't find for obvious reasons, although I notice that they all emphasize hydration, so I take what I have on hand and decide to make my own shaving cream recipe!

Y como lo notaron en la foto de portada ni un corte de cabello y solo dos afeitadas (por salir del paso), el caso es que hoy domingo me levante y dije “ya no” hoy toca cariñito! PERO, estoy en cuarentena y en un estado del interior de Venezuela lo que implica que no tengo ni acceso a una buena crema de afeitar ni a una buena hojilla y menos aún de un peluquero, ¿entonces qué hago? Buscar en internet significa conseguir productos que no dispongo y que no podre encontrar por obvias razones, aunque noto que todas hacen énfasis en la hidratación, así que tomo lo que tengo a mano y decido armar mi propia receta de espuma de afeitar!

The ingredients I used were:

• a little piece of aloe vera glass (the most moisturizing and natural thing I had)
• 1 x vitamin E capsule
• a little shampoo
• ½ teaspoon baking soda
• a little bit of toothpaste (sounds crazy but you read right)

Los ingredientes que use fueron:

• un pedacito de cristal de Sábila (lo más hidratante y natural que tenía)
• 1 capsula de vitamina E
  *un poco de shampoo
• ½ cucharadita de bicarbonato de sodio
• un poquitito de dentífrico (suena loco pero leyeron bien)

Mix all that with a shaving brush and you're done.

Mesclar todo eso con una brocha de para afeitar y listo.

My mousse is ready, but my hair is still wild, so I go to my wife's multiple skills and hand over my hair to her!

Lista mi espuma, pero sigo con el cabello como un salvaje, así que acudo a las múltiples habilidades de mi esposa y entrego mi cabello a sus manos!

With another aspect I decide to try my experiment! And the result was better than I expected! I managed to shave without hurting my skin and better yet I ended up with very very soft skin.

Ya con otro aspecto decido probar mi experimento! Y el resultado fue mejor de lo que esperaba! Conseguí rasurarme sin lastimar mi piel y mejor aún termine con la piel muy muy suave.

Ready, gentlemen! Even though I don't look that different, it makes me feel better to give myself a little love and grooming so I can share my best side with my Family who are the most important thing I have!

Ya listo señores! Aunque no me vea tan diferente, me hace sentir mejor darme un cariño y arreglarme un poco para poder compartir mi mejor faceta con mi Familia que son Lo más importante que tengo!
