Bitcoin has had 6 straight months of gains, and is probably looking for at least 1 or 2 more

We all know that bitcoin has had quite the winning streak, but did you know it has been historically good?

You probably did know that simply looking at the price of bitcoin, but even more than just the price, the overall momentum has been historic as well.

When March closed as yet another green month for bitcoin, it marked the 6 straight monthly gain for bitcoin, which was the second longest streak for bitcoin ever.

Back in 2013, bitcoin had 7 straight months of gains which was the all time record.

As we approach April, some might think we are due for a down month or two, but not so fast...

April is one of the best months for bitcoin period.

It has been a green month for bitcoin the last 5 years in a row and has been green in 8 out of the last 10 years.

While this likely has something to do with taxes or maybe even the Chinese New Year etc, it's hard to argue the trend.

Not only is April awesome, but May is pretty awesome as well.

May is also one of the best performing months of bitcoin and has been green in 8 of the last 10 years as well.

When you factor this in with our 6 month winning streak, I would not be shocked to see that streak extend to 8 months and beat the previous record of 7 straight months.
