Never seen before - super gains on Steem and SBD

Hi Steemit Friends,

I just received a WhatsApp message from a friend about the prices of the two and oh boy, I don't recall seeing this jump in % since I started here. As we are all (ok most) people are anticipating HIVE to launch, it seems like someone is also excited about it and wants to buy up a lot on the market.

Now looking at what I am seeing now, over 100% gain on Steem overnight with SBD at nearly 50%. You tend to see these gains on 'suss' deals. Maybe I am naive but let's remember we still have JS behind us trying to "help" the blockchain. What does this mean for us and the community? Will the price tank tomorrow? What a time to be on this blockchain and experience it all.
