How to Make Mermaids Guide
Hello to all online art lovers and those who would like to meet and fall in love with a mermaid, with whom you can get lost in the waves of the vast ocean ^ _ ^
I already feel in better spirits to return in the old ways, I notice that it is very true what one of my teachers told me when I was in high school: "the clean environment influences the state of mind" if the environment is very dirty you will be unmotivated and you did not want to do practically anything productive, it was not exactly her words but it was what I understood (she was specified in the spider webs) I already ordered my work habitat, I am missing the rest of the house, but that I will be helping my mother little by little, but finally and from now on I will return to the illustrations, and the other guides that I have to make ^ _ ^
This guide continues with the theme of fantasy and on this occasion it will be explained how to draw one of the fantastic creatures that has always captivated the imagination for thousands of years, which is one of the beloved and favorites of many people. It is about mermaids, because it is about beings that are a beautiful woman from the waist up and below it, they have a body and a fish tail, this beautiful creature is popular among artists for all the possibilities that their Attributes allow you to draw no matter how you imagine it, rest assured that a drawing of a mermaid well done will be very fascinating. ^ _ ^
This magical creature is one of the most beautiful in the fantasy world for possessing the most beautiful attributes of the human female anatomy, and the exotic beauty of the fish of the oceans.
The classic mermaid only has a single pair of fins at the end of its tail, but all fish have 6 to 7 fins and the mermaid should be no exception
Adding more fins to your tail further increases your visual appeal.
The Ears
In the classic image of a mermaid it has the normal ears of a human, to give it a more striking appearance it is recommended to replace them with fins.
The Hair
Being a marine being, hair becomes one of the most striking features when drawing a mermaid.
The hair behaves in a completely different way when it is underwater, for each minimal movement, huge strands move like waves.
The factors of these hair movements are the currents of the tides and the intensity of the waves, also due to the movements of the sirens, therefore there are many strands in different directions.
Underwater it is impossible to have a hairstyle, but it is an incredible visual attraction when drawing them.
The Dressing
The normal thing for a mermaid is to be naked "the clothes of fabrics do not last in the sea and would make it difficult for her to swim" although they usually cover her chest decorating it with shells, algae and other things
They also decorate their tail with snails and pearls, they are very vain and it is an aspect that must be taken into consideration when drawing them.
The Fins
The fins are a thin membrane with spines and it is what allows the fish to swim and of course the mermaids.
First the outline of the fin and the first spines are traced, then filled with many lines depending on the outline.
It is recommended to add fins under the arm, and the fingers of the mermaids should be joined with a thin membrane up to half of each of these.
The tail fins are the largest and therefore the most important of a mermaid, which is why you must be very careful when drawing them.
To take into account when drawing mermaids
The postures in each movement of a siren should always be very dynamic and fluid.
Even when in a resting pose, your body silhouette should show movement.
Mermaids are creatures that are very conceited with their beauty, and this must be taken into consideration when drawing them, in the whole figure of the body of a mermaid a lot of passion and curiosity must be reflected.
