Hello to the whole community, in order to attend to the emergencies that arise in the consultation and due to a possible contagion of COVID19 , a special protocol has been implemented for biosafety, disinfection of work areas and patient treatment.

Debido a mi profesión, estoy en contacto con fluidos Y la posibilidad de un contagio es del 100%, pero la salud no se detiene y he atendido casos durante la cuarentena.

Because of my profession, I am in contact with fluids AND the possibility of a contagion is 100%, but health does not stop and I have treated cases during quarantine.

El paciente se cita a una hora detenminada debe venir sin acompañante y se trabaja a puerta cerrada, y se aplica gel antibacterial y se queda en la sala de espera hasta que sea llamado

The patient is scheduled for an hour and must come unaccompanied and work behind closed doors. Antibacterial gel is applied and the patient remains in the waiting room until called

Para tratar al paciente se utiliza, bata desechable guantes tapaboca y careta protectora, todas las superficies estan siento desicfectadas con una solucion de esterilizador al frío y cloro, y rociamos todas la áreas desde el mostrador hasta el sillón de trabajo.

To treat the patient we use, disposable gown, face shield and gloves, all surfaces are disinfected with a solution of cold sterilizer and chlorine, and we spray all areas from the counter to the couch.

Luego que el paciente se atiende todo el instrumental se desinfecta en jabon enzimático, para eliminar todo resto de fluidos (sangre y saliva), luego se lava con agua y jabon se secan y se llevan al autoclave.

After the patient is attended to, all the instruments are disinfected with enzymatic soap to eliminate any remaining fluid (blood and saliva), then they are washed with water and soap, dried and taken to the autoclave.

Todos los enseres son desifectados, ya que el virus puede mantenerse vivo por horas, las citas son más largas entre paciente y paciente, las diposiciones de la sercretaria de salud de Colombia, es atender sólo las urgencias para evitar aglomeraciones.
