Hola a toda la comunidad, hoy les traigo de forma didáctica de como se ven los dientes despues de un tallado para servir de pilar a una prótesis fija.

Es la imagen de un modelo de estudio y podemos observar el desgaste al que es sometido el diente escogido como pilar para soportar una prótesis fija.

El desgaste se realiza con fresas cilíndricas de tallo largo, se coloca de forma perpendicular y se desgasta alrededor del diente de manera uniforme teniendo en cuenta que debe darle cabida a los dos materiales, componentes de la prótesis a utilizar, y por oclusal se desgastan las cúspides de forma plana dejando la distancia necesaria, la terminación cervical es la más importante, allí debe ser muy cuidadoso, por que es donde radica el sellado que es en sí el éxito de la prótesis.

The wear is done with long-stemmed cylindrical drills, it is placed perpendicularly and it is worn around the tooth in a uniform way taking into account that it must give room to both materials, components of the prosthesis to be used, and by occlusal the cusps are worn flat leaving the necessary distance, the cervical termination is the most important, there you must be very careful, because that is where the success of the sealing lies which is in itself the success of the prosthesis.

El tallado debe hacerse si es posible en un diente vital, sino hay que realizar la endodoncia para hacerlo.

Milling should be done if possible on a vital tooth, otherwise it is necessary to perform endodontics to do it.

Es un trabajo meticuloso que debe ser hecho con suma precisión para que quede una prótesis sellada.
