No tenemos mucho tiempo, un día no es suficiente, para conocer todos los magníficos e interesantes lugares que ofrece la zona norte del estado Anzoátegui. Hoy recorreremos las hermanas ciudades de Lechería, Barcelona y Puerto La Cruz. Tan cercanas una de la otra, que prácticamente sus límites se funden. Resulta difícil identificar donde empieza una y termina la otra, jajajaja.

We do not have much time, one day is not enough, to know all the magnificent and interesting places that the north zone of the Anzoátegui state offers. Today we will visit the sister cities of Lechería, Barcelona and Puerto La Cruz. They are so close to each other that their boundaries practically melt away. It is difficult to identify where one begins and the other ends, hahaha.

Pero no perdamos tiempo… Iniciaremos nuestro día inolvidable en la cálida ciudad de Puerto la Cruz, específicamente en el Paseo Colón. En sus restaurantes podemos disfrutar una maravillosa vista del Mar Caribe Venezolano, mientras disfrutamos de un rico desayuno.

But let's not waste time... We will start our unforgettable day in the warm city of Puerto la Cruz, specifically in the Paseo Colón. In its restaurants we can enjoy a wonderful view of the Venezuelan Caribbean Sea, while enjoying a delicious breakfast.

Bien, barriguita llena corazón contento… ahora a seguir disfrutando de este soleado día, el Paseo Colón, no solo nos permite dar un paseo a orillas del mar. También posee un pequeño muelle, del cual partiremos para realizar un divertido paseo en lancha.

Well, tummy full of happy heart... now to continue enjoying this sunny day, the Paseo Colón, not only allows us to take a walk by the sea. It also has a small dock, from which we will leave for a fun boat ride.

Durante el paseo disfrutarán de lindas bahías, golfos, costas de profundas aguas azules, arrecifes de coral, islas e islotes y ensenadas, además de zonas montañosas de exuberante vegetación. Si tenemos suerte también disfrutaremos de la compañía de los lindos e inteligentes delfines que habitan en estas cálidas aguas.

During the tour you will enjoy beautiful bays, gulfs, deep blue water coasts, coral reefs, islands and islets and coves, as well as mountainous areas with lush vegetation. If we are lucky we will also enjoy the company of the beautiful and intelligent dolphins that live in these warm waters.

Nuestro destino final, será una de las paradisiacas e idílicas playas de arena blanca, que forman parte del Parque Nacional Mochima. Lugar donde disfrutaremos de horas inolvidables, nadando en sus deliciosas aguas, o si prefieren, pueden relajarse tendidos al sol en sus suaves arenas. Finalizaremos esta primera parte del recorrido, con un delicioso almuerzo al puro estilo oriental. Les aseguro, degustaran del pescado más fresco y delicioso que nunca habrán probado.

Our final destination will be one of the paradisiacal and idyllic white sand beaches, which are part of the Mochima National Park. Place where we will enjoy unforgettable hours, swimming in its delicious waters, or if you prefer, you can relax lying in the sun on its soft sands. We will finish this first part of the tour, with a delicious lunch in pure oriental style. I assure you, you will taste the freshest and most delicious fish you will ever taste.

Ahora, de regreso a tierra firme, una vez allí nos dirigiremos a la turística ciudad de Lecherías. Es un lugar con muchas opciones para disfrutar en familia, con la pareja o en grupo como lo estamos haciendo hoy nosotros. Como disponemos solo de pocas horas, nos centraremos en uno de los lugares insignes de la ciudad El Cerro el Morro.

Now, back to the mainland, once there we will head to the tourist town of Lecherías. It is a place with many options to enjoy with the family, with the couple or in a group as we are doing today. As we only have a few hours, we will focus on one of the most emblematic places in the city, El Morro Hill.

Disfruten de las hermosas vistas y de la maravillosa briza marina en compañía de nuestra querida Virgen del Valle, patrona del oriente venezolano. Ahora subiremos a lo más alto del cerro, su amplio mirador, nos permite disfrutar a plenitud, de la hermosa vista de la Bahía de Pozuelo y de toda la ciudad. Además, se puede apreciar parte de las ciudades de Puerto La Cruz y Guanta.

Enjoy the beautiful views and the wonderful sea breeze in the company of our beloved Virgen del Valle, patron saint of eastern Venezuela. Now we will climb to the top of the hill, its wide viewpoint, allows us to fully enjoy the beautiful view of the Bay of Pozuelo and the entire city. In addition, you can appreciate part of the cities of Puerto La Cruz and Guanta.

Ahora, acompáñenme a conocer un hermoso lugar envuelto en un aura de misticismo. En la otra cara del Cerro el Morro, encontraremos El Fortín de la Magdalena. Como pueden ver las hermosas ruinas de esta fortaleza, nos transportan a un pasado lleno de gloria. Historias de un pasado memorable, ya que, fue el escenario, de algunas de las batallas que libraron en el siglo XVII, nuestros gloriosos héroes independentistas.

Now, come with me to a beautiful place wrapped in an aura of mysticism. On the other side of El Morro Hill, we will find the Magdalena Fortress. As you can see the beautiful ruins of this fortress, they transport us to a past full of glory. Stories of a memorable past, as it was the scene of some of the battles fought in the XVII century by our glorious independence heroes.

Como broche de oro, para este recorrido maravilloso, relájense y disfruten al ver como se oculta el sol. Los atardeceres desde el cerro el Morro, son unos de los más hermosos del oriente venezolano. Es una maravillosa experiencia, ver como el astro rey pareciera apagarse poco a poco, mientras se hunde en el infinito mar. Con tan magnífico espectáculo, se inicia la llegada de la noche, quien nos arropa lentamente, con su manto de oscuridad y misterio. Es el preámbulo perfecto, para luego disfrutar de un cielo repleto de estrellas fulgurantes, eternas acompañante de la hermosa y romántica luna.

To round off this wonderful tour, relax and enjoy watching the sunset. The sunsets from the hill, the Morro, are some of the most beautiful in eastern Venezuela. It is a wonderful experience, to see how the sun seems to fade little by little, while it sinks into the infinite sea. With such a magnificent spectacle, the arrival of the night begins, which slowly wraps us up in its mantle of darkness and mystery. It is the perfect preamble, to later enjoy a sky full of shining stars, eternal companions of the beautiful and romantic moon.
