Lockdown End Photoshoot

Today is the last day of the two months lockdown we had to go through, which means we can go anywhere starting from tomorrow and affidavit will be only needed if one wants to leave town. You need a reason for that, unfortunately.

Yesterday during my shopping round I got to take a few photos that I'd like to share with you.

Unknown Pink

This pink blossom tree was a surprise for me as I've never seen this and have no idea what it is.

Looked lovely though.

Another Unknown But Lovely

I've known these flowers all my life as there's plenty around here but have no idea how it is called.

After a quick search I found out it's called Hawthorn.

Poppy

To my surprise I saw a poppy, which is not very common in cities. To be honest, I've never seen one in the neighborhood, it was a first.

I was happy to see one, so I took out my camera and took a few shots.

Poppies are lovely, even thought they are not appreciated by farmers for a very good reason.

Look at this little hairy bud, isn't it cute?

German Iris

This is a flower my heart is aching for. My dad has a bunch in the garden, I'm doing a photoshoot every year about these but not this year.

Maybe next week I'm going to go look for some in the neighborhood, I know a few places where I can find some.

The Fun Part

This is what happens when the wind is blowing like crazy and you want to take some photos.

After a few shots I had to give it up. It was obvious the wind was not going to let me take some decent photos, so there was no point in trying and trying.

Pretty soon I'm going to be back with more photos as I'm planning to go visit the places I know have beautiful flowers and make the most of it till I still can. These flowers don't last for long.
