Today was actually a very great, until it wasn't, but for the most part, we had a great time.

Normally, in the afternoon, we go out scooting and exploring the neighborhood. Since discovering a vast piece of land belonging to the gov't of Madrid a couple of weeks ago, the motivation to keep it adventurous has been quite high.

Just a couple of days ago, we discovered this other space in the opposite side of the hood.It's not equally good, a bit too dry and dusty, but it was a look at. It seems like a lot of people are aware of its existence unlike the one we discovered earlier. This one has so much trails and you could see bicycle marks even though we didn't sight a single person today. Probably busy getting work done, homework etc...

So, What was Interesting here?

Giant Fallen Tree..

Well, not for me. But at least the kids enjoyed spotting this fallen big tree. Clearly by now you can tell they like climbing trees. What kids don't right? This tree is still growing even in it's state. Isn't nature amazing?

Wool Bearing Tree

Prior to today, I had never seen this tree before. I don't know what it's called, incase you do, drop me a comment down below.

The wool/cotton or whatever it's producing is really soft. We tried to collect abit of it but could barely get a handful. It would either fly off or stick on to your hands. I can't imagine having a cosy little pillow out of this. Would be nice.

The Blue Skyline

This place was actually quite dry. Plenty of sand.

But the bright blue sky was quite beautiful to look at. It was probably over 25 degrees today. Tomorrow we might be in the 30's so it's safe to say this is the beginning of summer!

Though not quite visible from the photos, we could actually spot the airport from here. The kids enjoy scooting down the hill, it's like a mini little adventure.

Not sure what you guys are up to, but whatever it is, hope you are enjoying it cause that's all that matters. I ceratinly had a great day and currently winding down with a great cup of coffee, cause coffee is life and it's one of the little things making me happy in this lock-down.
