Throwback post - work from 2008

Checking back my old portfolio, it's hard to believe I've been doing this for so many years.

I made this image 2008. The idea was to depict a solemn moment on a non-descript rooftop, in a city undergoing mandatory evacuation due to an impending disaster.

I miss the times when I can afford to spend weeks working on a single image, when artistic expression trumps the need to make sure every minute I spend in front of the computer is making money to make ends meet.
