Qurator's Photo Friday Competition #124 - Blowing in the wind
The photo was taken in the Namib desert. Namibia is a country that has one of the oldest deserts in the world, some of the highest sand dunes in the world and one of the hotest desert on earth. The place the photo was taken is Deadvlei which is a circular depression that has been filled with water and surrounded by massive sand dunes that stretches all the way to the coast.I took this photo on the return from this depression (which has the most spectacular landscape I could ever have imagined) On my way back to the carpark it had become windy. A sandstorme was approaching.
