Sunday Food Journal - what i ate yesterday
Hello, foodies!
Today i would like to share what i ate yesterday.. I won't tell you about price cause this article would only share about the flavour i tasted yesterday.
In the morning, i had the raisin toast bread.
I love how they made it perfectly. The bread was not soft but also not hard. It had raisins everywhere, raisins made it tasted sweet and a bit sour while the bread tasted savory. What a perfect match!
And then we had our lunch in a foodcourt.
Mom had her meatballs while me, i had the chicken noodle. Guess the taste?
Mom put sweet soy sauce, chilli sauce and paste there, so the meatballs had the complete flavour of savory, sweet, sour and spicy. I put the chinese leaks, chilli paste and tongcai in my noodle. It had perfect texture, smooth and you could smell the sesame oil they used. It had savory and spicy flavour. I also loved it! It was my first time trying their noodle.
We also had the fruits asinan on afternoon. It was fresh and cold.
The flavour was sweet, sour and spicy. It contained fruits like mango, pineapple, apple, grape, and bengkuang. We also ate mango yesterday, it tasted sour and sweet.
In the evening, mom fried the chicken and also tempeh. I put the garlic, coriander powder and also salt in the water to marinate the tempeh before it was fried.
Guess the taste?It all tasted so good with savory flavour. We also added the chilli sweet soy sauce to make it sweet and spicy.
