A Secret About Sad Cat...
Shhhh! I've got a secret to tell you about "Sad Cat"!
(I'm including some edits along with my photos 😁)
I named him Sad Cat because his markings, besides being beautiful, kinda' make him look sad.
That's not the secret though. The secret is that after all this time Sad Cat has decided that he likes "pets".
He mostly likes them when he is being fed but that is okay with me.
He still gets skittish when someone might be with me and...
...when I'm outside, between feedings, he keeps a cautious kitty cat eye on me.
You know what else?
Maybe it's just me but I really don't think Sad Cat looks quite so sad anymore! 😊

I would probably not name any of pets or animals "Sad", even if they would look like sad.
That would just/only make sad. I imagine you greeting or calling him.
"Hello Sad Cat, what is up?", or "Come here Sad Cat".
Hearing that would be sad and hilarious/funny at the same time.
Thanks @xplosive!! Lol..he goes by other names as well. I think all of our pets and animal friends here have several names. Sometimes we just call him Buddy or Stripey Cat as well. Don't even get me started on all the names I call my guinea pig by..lol.
Yes, I know what you mean. I also thought about several names for my pets/animals, but I have not used most of them. Now I know that some people do. I use usually one name for one pet/animal.

I think he has some very interesting markings on him. Hehe! I laughed at the name Sad Cat.. :)

Thank you very much Denise!! I was a little nervous the first time I tried to pet him but he was very open to petting as long as I come with some food..lol. His markings are so pretty as is the little bit of tan in the tabby. Yep, another mouth to feed but I don't mind at all. 💖

Sad cat does look happy Dee and even lets you pet him. Love the edits and the photo where he is peeking at you with one eye showing. 😆 🐱 💗
