How fun it is to teach your child to value and save their money
Being a father is undoubtedly a gift from God and it is very gratifying to see your child grow up learning his teachings. See its evolution in everything that makes anyone proud.
Recently something caught my attention at my home. My aunt was with us briefly and she saw me handing a 10 reais (US $ 1.91) note to my son and she was curious to know what a 9 year old child would do with that money. That was when she asked my son what he would spend with 10 reais and to my aunt's surprise, my son said he would keep it.
Of course, for me it was a source of great pride because I started early and of course, little by little teaching my two children the importance of saving and valuing every cent. Because they have a great future ahead of us and we all know that when it comes to investments, the sooner you start, the better, right?
Each one has their own safe and every year at Christmas they like to open it and see how much coins they managed to collect. This year I will see a way to open without damaging the coffers because it was a gift from their grandmother.
When they find out how much money they have made, they have a free right to choose what they want to buy and believe, in addition to toys, one of the things they like to buy is also clothing because they know that spending their money on clothing pays off because it is something that can be used for a long time.
There are several ways to teach your child to be more aware of their expenses and to save money, because one day they will grow up and teach simple things to those who did not have a base in childhood or youth can be a difficult task for you.
We can have several ways to educate our children and it doesn't have to be so serious and rigid, be patient and have fun as it is always good to have moments with our children and I can mention some ways to educate them like:
- Give allowance. ...
- Encourage the child to record their expenses. ...
- Encourage your child to have goals. ...
- It is good that you teach the importance of conscious consumption. ...
- Give simple examples so that he understands in the best way ... At this moment it is good to use some objects as an example;
- Going to the supermarket with your child can be a good lesson, so he will know the importance of values, promotions, qualities and quantities.
These and other ways are good ways to teach our children. So when they are ready, they will be able to be more conscientious citizens and will hardly be in financial crisis. Imagine 10 or 15 years from now what cryptocurrencies will look like? I hope to enjoy it all with them and there is a long and fun way to go.

Recentemente algo me chamou atenção em minha casa. Minha tia esteve conosco brevemente e ela viu eu entregar uma cédula de 10 reais (US $ 1,91) para o meu filho e ela ficou curiosa para saber o que uma criança de 9 anos iria fazer com esse dinheiro. Foi quando ela perguntou para o meu filho o que iria gastar com com 10 reais e para a surpresa da minha tia, meu filho disse que iria guardar.
Lógico que para mim foi motivo de muito orgulho pois já comecei cedo e claro, aos poucos a ensinar meus dois filhos a importância de econimizar e valorizar cada centavo. Pois eles têm um futuro grande pela frente e todos nós sabemos que se tratando de investimentos, quanto mais cedo começar, melhor certo?
Cada um tem seu cofre e todos os anos no Natal eles gostam de abrir e ver o quanto de moedinhas conseguiram juntar. Nesse ano vou ver uma forma de abrir sem danificar os cofres pois foi um presente da avó deles.
Quando descobrem o quanto de dinheiro conseguiram, eles têm o livre direito de escolher o que quiser comprar e acreditem, além de brinquedos, uma das coisas que gostam de comprar também é roupa pois sabem que gastar seu dinheiro em uma roupa compensa pois é algo que pode ser usado por bastante tempo.
Tem várias maneiras de ensinar seu filho a ter mais consciência em seus gastos e por economizar, pois um dia eles crescerão e ensinar coisas simples para quem não teve uma base na infância ou juventude pode ser uma difícil tarefa para você.
Podemos ter várias maneiras de educar nossos filhos e não precisa ser uma forma tão séria e rígida, seja paciente e divirtam-se pois é sempre bom ter momentos com nossos filhos e podo citar alguma formas de educá-los como:
- Dê mesada. ...
- Enstimular a criança a anotar seus gastos. ...
- Incentive seu filho a ter objetivos. ...
- É bom que ensine a importância do consumo consciente. ...
- Dê exemplos simples para que ele compreenda da melhor forma... Nesse momento é bom usar alguns objetos como exemplo;
- Ir ao supermercado com seu filho pode ser uma boa aula, assim ele irá saber a importância de valores, promoões, qualidades e quantidades.
Essas e outras maneiras são boas formas de ensinar nossas crianças. Assim quano estiverem audltos poderão ser cidadão mais conscientes e dificilmente ficarão em crise financeira. Imaginem daqui a 10 ou 15 anos como ficarão as criptomoedas? Espero disfrutar tudo isso com eles e até lá existe um longo e divertido caminho.
