Another day in quarantine | I made jalea de mango

So how are you guys doing? You know that my content is usually about artistic works but I want to vary a little because I don't feel like drawing, I need a break for a few weeks, and I didn't know what to do upstairs to stay active. Until yesterday I was making a pizza and coconut rice and I thought I'd bring them up here... In the form of "this is what I do in quarantine"... Well unfortunately I didn't take pictures in the preparation of those two meals but today I was making a mango jelly so this post will be about that :).

Bueno chicos como andan? Saben que mi contenido normalmente se trata de trabajos artísticos pero quiero variar un poco porque no tengo muchas ganas de dibujar, necesito un descanso de algunas semanas, y no sabia que subir para mantenerme activo.. Hasta que ayer estaba haciendo una pizza y un arroz con coco y pensé en subirlos aquí... En forma de "esto es lo que hago en la cuarentena"... Bueno lamentablemente no tome fotos en la preparación de esas dos comidas pero hoy estaba haciendo una jalea de mango así que este post se tratara de eso :).

Mango jelly is very simple, the first step is to put them in water to cook them until they open in half. Like this!

La jalea de mango es muy simple, El primer paso es colocarlas en agua para cocinarlas hasta que se abran por la mitad. Como esto!

Then with a teaspoon we start scraping the inside of the mango to get all the edible stuff out. This process is quite boring xD

Luego con una cucharilla comenzamos a raspar el interior del mango para sacar toda lo comestible.. Este proceso es bastante aburrido xD

After a good time scraping the handle, we must clean the jelly, the handle has small threads that when we shave them go right to the jelly, the easiest way to remove these threads is by beating the jelly.

Después de un buen rato raspando el mango, debemos limpiar la jalea, el mango tiene pequeños hilos que cuando los rapamos se van justo a la jalea, la forma mas fácil de sacar esos hilos es batiendo la jalea.

With 5 minutes of beating it will be fine, as you see this is what we had to take out to make the jelly more creamy

Con 5 minutos de batir estará bien, como ven esto es lo que teníamos que sacar para que la jalea este mas cremosa

Sugar, this is pure taste and also depends on the mango, some mangos are sour, others are sweet, it all depends on how ripe they are, in this case they were a little sour because they lacked a little ripening, so I had to add more sugar than normal.

Azúcar, esto es a puro gusto y también depende del mango, algunos mangos están ácidos, otros son dulces, todo depende de cuanto de maduro están, en este caso estaban algo ácidos porque les faltaba madurar un poquito, por eso tuve que echar mas azúcar de lo normal.

And that's it, you can eat it, personally I leave it cold until it's almost frozen, it looks much better that way.

Y listo ya se puede comer, en lo personal la dejo enfriando hasta que este casi congelada, me parece mucho mas rica así.
