The Gates Have Opened
I live a new experience in this life, after two months of restricting the freedom of movement, the gates have opened! Yes, I can go where I want now (where I want but only in my city).
There are restrictions and recommendations to follow, well known now and related to common sense. Mainly related to personal safety and avoiding covid infection 19. Of course no one wants to and in general I have met people who take these aspects into account.
We humans are of many kinds, but in relation to this aspect of reporting on this pandemic I see three major groups and beliefs.
The largest group consisting of those who understand the gravity of the situation and accept the measures taken by different authorities.
Another group, and this one numerous, who understand the gravity, partially, and who are dissatisfied with the actions of the authorities. Some of them believe in all sorts of conspiracy theories designed to reduce rights and freedoms as well as to commit fraud.
The third group consists, unfortunately, of people less informed and civilized and who are not aware of the severity of this pandemic. These are the most dangerous and can spread the disease unconsciously and serenely.
I consider myself to be part of the first group, as are most of my acquaintances and you, but I believe that at the same time, in addition to the absolutely necessary measures, the governments of the world are also doing an exercise in action in the event of a global disaster. This pandemic offers this opportunity ... and, of course, many are trying to take advantage, maintain power, increase power and earn as much money as possible.
I think I left the subject, in fact I want to say that I went shopping, to the supermarket, after two months of isolation. My impressions.
I live on the outskirts of town and close to the supermarket. A pleasure to walk there. I like it because from there I can see more sky, it is a very large plateau that shows the horizon.
Starting today, it is mandatory to wear a mask in stores. So far it has only been a recommendation. I think now we all look alike!
I don't like to go shopping but I understand the need and it doesn't stress me too much. It's more complicated when I go with my wife! Now I'm alone and more curious. Because it is the first day when there are no more restrictions and I expect it to be very crowded.
I was wrong! I've never seen an empty supermarket. Let's take a look ...
A few places of interest in the store, even in these more than pleasant conditions (due to the lack of crowds) I do not want to stay too long. Fish, I like fish and I have to buy fish for a barbecue that I will make tomorrow.
Of course, if I said barbecue, I also need beer. I'm looking for some beer.
The supermarket is a place where you easily lose your temper, your mind and buy without measure. To avoid me, I make a list and know from the beginning where I have to go. Now I know I still have to buy vegetables ...
. . . fruits
... and sweets!
This post inspired by #marketfriday, as well as #alwaysaflower, both proposed and hosted by @dswigle.
Did anyone say that there must always be a flower?
In my garden, a rose.
This post was initially posted here but I think all my friends, wherever they are, should see it.
