NBA Restart Season July 30. Sneak Peek.
The NBA Restart Season.
Along with maybe billions of people around the world, the NBA is one of our favorite sports platforms. And you may already know, the season was postponed due to the Corona Virus pandemic and is scheduled to restart this coming July 30. The event or all of the basketball games will be held at Walt Disney World Resort in Florida.
Needless to say, even with all its postponement and adjustments, basketball fans all over the world are still excited to see and get results of the games. The teams that will be participating as approved by the NBA Board of governors are those that have chances to qualify for playoffs if the games were continued just like the normal regular season.
So, teams are selected based on their standings during the regular season games. First, are the 16 teams (8 teams from each Conference) that are in playoff positions if the playoffs started before the regular season games were suspended. Then those teams that may still have chances if the games continued until the end of the season. These are teams that are just six games or fewer behind the eighth-seeded team of their respective Conference.
We have a total of 88 games remaining to be played as part of the regular-season games. Then the playoffs begin. The top 16 teams (8 from each Conference) will be determined and the format continues just like the previous seasons.
The 22 NBA teams that are qualified to continue for the restart season.
Los Angeles Lakers
New Orleans Pelicans
Oklahoma City Thunder
Portland Trail Blazers
San Antonio Spurs
The Excitement Continues.
Now the games will start with the mentioned date and venue. The first game to be played on the first day is a match between Utah Jazz and New Orleans Pelicans. Two of the upcoming and surging teams of the NBA today. We have two emerging powerhouses with these two teams. We have our near future unfold between these 2 teams. I have Utah Jazz as the winning team on this matchup.
The next game is between the two current powerhouses of the NBA this season. A matchup between LA Lakers and LA Clippers. Not only that these two teams each have one of the most talented duo tandems in the NBA today, Kawhi Leonard and Paul George with the LA Clippers and LeBron James and Anthony Davis with the LA Lakers. Many say that an NBA champion will be coming out of these two teams this season. Who knows? Maybe Giannis has a lot to say about it. I got LA Clippers a slight edge on this matchup.
What about you? Are you still excited about the NBA season even with all this pandemic happening around the world?
