Boulder Sunday
I packed myself a little picnic lunch yesterday and off to the lake I went.
More often than not it snows on my birthday and it's usually mighty Nor'Easter snowstorm. That was not the scenario yesterday.
I walked around and took a few pictures and had a fantastic time.
The ice is still thick on the north shore. A small boulder is emerging.
Boulders on the sunny south shore.
In the far distance there is a dam. This wonderful lake is a reservoir. The dam was put in many years ago after a big flood.
Beautiful stones all of all different shapes, sizes and colours.
All special and unique.
We truly are 😘.
A Steel eye bolt anchored in a large boulder. Pretty amazing.

It's slowly getting warmer and some melting going on. There is some snow forecasted. It's still March and not at all unusual to get more of the white stuff🤷♀️🙂.
There was alot of snow last year well into April.
