Miss Street Food and Make Simple Egg Snacks
I stared at the deserted streets. Now things are getting that way. Not as busy as in the past, where many people used to sell in the morning and evening.
I really miss a street corner full of people selling simple, but delicious food.
But actually, it's more than that the atmosphere of gathering with the people around you which makes street food have a lot of meaning.
Because I miss street food snacks, so I thought of making one of them.
I want to make egg satay which kids usually love and served with hot sauce.
Egg satay is very easy to make and is usually served skewered like satay. And the ingredients are only eggs which are then beaten and fried in lots of oil. Served warm. Oh, just imagining it is yummy.
But since I don't have skewers, so I don't make them exactly the same. I just fry them and serve them on a banana leaf container.
I beat the eggs with spices, then fry them in lots of oil.
This is the end result that is not too bad but I really enjoy this dish. I sit in workspace and make my afternoon coffee.
Every now and then I look up at the outdoor sky and find that it is almost dusk.
I know maybe I am in a bad mood, but the Universe is always kind to heal my mood today.
If it might rain, I'll dance in the rain and maybe, cry.
Ah, thanks for the delicious snack today!
