A Simple Fried Artocarpus Integer (Cempedak) Recipe
I rarely get Artocarpus Integer (Cempedak) fruit. But a few days ago my uncle brought me this fruit in a condition that was ripe perfectly.

It’s not difficult to process of cooking this fruit. We can eat them just like that or process them into crispy fried fruit with golden flour dressing.
Here I use a very simple recipe like we fry bananas in general.
The Ingredients
- All-purpose Flour
- water
- A little salt
- Ripe Artocarpus Integer
The amount is adjusted to the needs. If it's too runny, add a little bit of flour while stirring well. If it is too thick, add water. Then add Artocarpus Integer stock to the flour mixture.
How to make
- Open ripe Artocarpus Integer fruits. You can remove the seeds from the flesh.
But if you don't want it, it doesn't matter.
For the record, their seeds can also be eaten.
- Make a flour mixture with water, add a little salt to strengthen the taste. Then dip the Artocarpus Integer fruit into the mixture. Make sure all the flesh is covered with flour.
- Then fry in a deep-dried style until golden brown. Don't forget to flip them.
Sweet, savory, and flavorful the typical fruit that offers the right pleasure to eat during tea or coffee break.
A Simple way of serving but I assure you, this is all so delicious and worth trying.
