Greetings friends, today I share a drawing that took me many hours but I feel it was worth it, the best work is done with delicacy and a little patience, in this case I made a portrait of a girl who at the beginning was going to be a normal and sweet portrait but after finishing it I wanted to capture a sinister and dark touch, which is what I like the most, her expressionless face and adding veins to the eyes, blood and those warm tones seemed to me a good idea. What do you think?.

Saludos amigos, hoy les comparto un dibujo que me tomo muchísimas horas pero que siento que valió la pena, los mejores trabajos se hacen con delicadeza y un poco de paciencia, en este caso hice un retrato de una chica que al principio iba a ser un retrato normal y tierno pero después de terminarlo quise plasmar un toque siniestro y oscuro, que es lo que más me gusta a mí, su rostro sin expresión y agregándole venas a sus ojos, sangre y esos tonos cálidos me pareció una buena idea, ¿Tu qué opinas?.

process / Proceso.

I made my sketch very simple and sloppy because I was planning to fix it as I was coloring, so that it would be quite natural, I used the airbrush to paint absolutely everything that makes up this drawing, varying between their sizes and opacities and mixing all the colors until they fade well, it is the first time I only work with the airbrush, I usually use the watercolor brush more, however this was a challenge for me, and the truth was not as bad as I expected, even I was impressed by how good the hair made only with the airbrush looks, here they I leave the process by images of my work and how I developed this portrait.

Hice mi boceto muy simple y descuidado porque pensaba arreglarlo según iba coloreando, para que quedara bastante natural use el aerógrafo para pintar absolutamente todo lo que compone este dibujo, variando entre sus tamaños y opacidades y mezclando todos los colores hasta difuminarlos bien, es primera vez que trabajo únicamente con el aerógrafo usualmente uso más el pincel de acuarela, sin embargo esto suponía un reto para mí, y la verdad no fue tan malo como esperaba incluso me impresione de lo bien que luce el cabello realizado únicamente con el aerógrafo, aquí les dejo el proceso por imágenes de mi trabajo y como fui desarrollando este retrato.

When I reached this point I thought I had finished, however I had the need to continue and add a bit of my madness to it, so I started to make my drawing a little darker, here we can see what the final drawing was originally.

Cuando llegue a este punto creí haber terminado, sin embargo tenía la necesidad de continuar y agregar un poco de mi locura en él, así que comencé a hacer mi dibujo algo más oscuro, aquí podremos ver cómo era originalmente el dibujo “final”.

By hand, make some veins in her eyes, using the brush in its smallest size I could manage to make the veins, and some red shading around the eye, I added some dark circles which accompany an overlay effect, inside the dark circles draw some veins using purple and red tones which lower them to opacity and finally add a layer on top with a gradient effect and lowering the opacity and changing the style of the layer to give it a more reddish tone that I liked very much.

A mano, realice algunas venas en sus ojos, usando el pincel en su tamaño más mínimo pude lograr hacer las venas, y algún sombreado en rojo alrededor del ojo, añadí unas ojeras las cuales acompañe de un efecto de superposición, dentro de las ojeras dibuje algunas venas usando tonos morados y rojos los cuales les baje a opacidad y finalmente agregue una capa encima con un efecto degradado y bajando la opacidad y cambiando el estilo de la capa logre darle un tono más rojizo que me gusto muchísimo.
