What is your thought and perspective about the statement, do you agree with this statement.
I strongly do not agree with the statement, "..."
This is because it's wrong to say that, and it has made a lot of people weak in their educational pursuit. Education isn't a scam and would never be a scam. In contrast, education has helped people in achieving some of their goals, if not all. It's not promising for one to get a well paid job immediately after graduation, but at least, the person will be able to know and identity certain things and establish himself well.
Even a welding job done by a lay man could also be done by a graduate in a more advanced way.
Do you think this statement is valid or misleading?
It's very misleading to the core. Education should be seen as one things that helps anybody know their worth and value. For young minds who might take these seriously, it could affect the way they respond to activities in school because they just feel it's a waste of time to be in school.
While others may say this as a slang, or because of the stress involved in school, especially when you have to force yourself to be in class, study hard and get what you didn't expect, they term it as being scam.
Others who have just started will have the impression school doesn't have to be there to make them succeed.
Do you have any personal experience or from someone you know to back up your take on the statement? Do share with us.
I don't have an experience. But I know of people who took their studies seriously and worked really hard. Today, they're doing very okay and it's as a result of being through school. She never saw school as something that didn't worth her time, rather, she devoted all her resources because she wanted to learn. She'd always advise I did the same because education is the key."
This doesn't mean everybody has to be in school to be food at what they do, but education polishes what a person can do or aspires to do; it adds colour and beauty to the work.
If you're in support of the statement, what would be your alternative to schooling and if not what would be your advice.
I'm not sitting the statement that school is scam. But I'd advise that if you're opportune to be in school, make every minute count for good. It could be tough, going for classes, studying, doing assignments, tests and exams, and sometimes not getting the grades you were expecting. It could be frustrating but you need to keep pushing. School is one way to know your rights, privileges and obligations in any given organization. School prepares a person for the future. School gives opportunities to students who were serious with their education in school.
Indeed school is not a scam!
