"My Steemit Promotion Items"

promoting steemit is one of the things I love doing because since I joined the platform I know how I have benefited a lot both academically and otherwise. So taking part in this contest is a privilege and I appreciate @simonnwigwe for coming up with this interesting topic.

The promotion aids I used to promote steemit in my area are my steemit t-shirt and my flyers. I often make use of the flyers on my social media handles and sometimes I sent them to most of the groups I was added to on WhatsApp. I use the t-shirts frequently to promote steemit and I can say that it has been very much helpful to me because it makes my promotion easier and faster.

The flyers were designed by me which did not cost me much because I used my laptop to design the flyers. While the t-shirt I both them last two year that was when my friend and I organized a steemit seminar at the University so I went to the market and bought the two t-shirts at the rate of 2000 naira each. After I bought the t-shirt I went to the printing press for the design. And that cost me 5000 nairas to fit the two t-shirts.

My steemit t-shirts are one of my favorite clothes because I wear them most often than known, I wear them mostly when I'm going to visit friends, to work, church, and other places. The reason why I often use them is that it had helped me to promote steemit in my state. Once I wear the t-shirt most people usually ask me a lot of questions after reading what I wrote on it then I will use the medium to tell them more about the platform. Most of them will be interested then I will gladly sign them in without West of time.

The flyers, I usually post on my social media handle as I mentioned earlier and it was through my handle that some of the people I recruit got to know about steemit. E.g @ishayachris when he saw the flyer on my Facebook page that was when he asked me about it and I gladly explained everything to him.

Wooow, since I joined the platform I introduced numerous people, and during the seminar at school, we were able to introduce more than 20 people even though some of them later gave up while some continued. Coming down to Kwara state I was able to introduce some people, some have not signed in due to lack of Android phone and time but below are the users which I introduced and they have successfully signed up as well.

Since I came to Kwara state for service I was having this plan to organize a seminar for my colleagues but when I went to ask for permission from my supervisor she promise to give me to chance but it was so unfortunate that she did not and when I went to ask her, she was like the hall we are using for CDS is not NYSC property so the owner of the school will not allow that. I was just new to the land and I don't know who to run to and that was how I couldn't hold the seminar during my service year.

But currently, I'm still in Ilorin and I'm done with my service, my plan of holding the seminar has not changed just that I'm still looking for a comfortable place where I will hold the seminar without any issues and I pray it worked out because I seriously want to do it. Now the additional aid which I will need for the seminar is a big banner and flyers. The flyers will be distributed before the seminar in other to invite more people also, I will try I get a steemit t-shirt for the people who I introduced to steemit so that the seminar will be more colorful.

In conclusion, the platform has been so helpful to me so I see no reason why I should not inform more people about it. Is not all about introducing new users anyway but it's how much attention we give them when they need our assistance to determine if they will stay or not. As for me I usually try my best to see that all my recruits are doing well because I always give them the full attention they need and if what they are asking is beyond my power then I will refer them to the top Nigeria representatives for further clarification.
