Steem4nigeria Accelerator Contest Week 57: What gender do you prefer your child to be?

Happy New Month, friends. This happens to be my very first creative post for the new month here. It is good to be making my entry on the topic for the week, which tries to make some comparisons between genders.

It is never a disservice but rather an obligation from us to train and cater to our children irrespective of their gender affiliation. In most cases, it is what we deposit into the woman that comes out as children irrespective of the sex.

Boy or girl child, which do you think is more expensive to train? Give your reasons

Training of children nowadays has become ever increasingly expensive. It is no longer necessarily gender base, but this does not remove the fact that some are more expensive than the other.

The girl child seems to be more expensive than the male counterpart. There are obvious reasons that the girl child requires extra attention in all endeavors. This is simply by their nature and the creation of being feminine.

What ordinarily should be neglected and unimportant for the male child can not be known to be overlooked for the girl child. They are fragile and need more support to cope. like. It's the male gender.

Have we wondered why the issues of gender inequality keep raising their ugly heads here and there? These are inborn and inherent nature patterns that try to undermine or make them not as adaptive as the male gender.

Social and economic constraints within our immediate society are limited factors that tend to be unfavorable for the girl child, and this may require extra costs for the girl child to overcome them, unlike the male child.

Healthcare concerns are also additional factors due to the extra need to cater to their reproductive health. This is aside from the general health care services received by both genders.

Security and safety of the girl child are also attract more due to the harassment and abuse they commonly face from society. They require more protection and care than the male gender.

If you were to be a parent today, which gender would you prefer to have as your children? Give us your reasons

On this side of the world, the African man believes in his heir. Someone to succeed him after he must have gone plays a major role for him, and this importance has become the norm. Every home without a male child thrives to get in either primarily by birth or through adoption (as the case may be).

For me, I don't have a preference but rather both genders. Both genders are unique in their ways and, hence, need to complement each other. While the male child is expected to occupy the heir apparent for the home, the girl child has been tipped as the best in taking care of their age parents.

So, the discussion should be about what is important to us as parents. Are we dwelling in the now or future when we are no longer full of strength to help ourselves?

During adolescence, which gender shows tendencies to go out of control? Why

Over the years, society's culture and norms have played a significant role in taming the girl child. Making them more domestic and homily with significant control over their behavioral pattern. This is not the same for the male child who naturally believes absolute freedom is his fundamental belief.

The male child is more susceptible to adolescent misbehavior, unlike the girl child. In most homes. as already said, the girl child receives more intensive training to be able to manage his future home, preferably her husband's own. This brings a lot of reservations to them.

What do you think about the statement; "what a boy can do, a girl can do better"?

These may be viewed from different perspectives. But I will share my little views on it. These are some of the statements released while trying to bring stability between genders and remove the virtual barriers between both genders in the fight against gender inequality.

The girl child may not have the same energy levels and masculine fitness as seen by the male counterparts, but when the girl child is given an opportunity, they still deliver on the same goals. It is all about equal opportunities without necessarily considering the time of achievement.

Thank you, Friend...

Hmmm, your post is interesting and captivating. It is true that female children are more expensive to train but regardless of that both children should be treated equally and have equal attention to each other so that it may not seem like discrimination to the boy child.

MODs Comment/Recommendation:
If this were a debate, I would have given you the top for carefully explaining your reasons for each answer. As a father, it's obvious you are talking from experience and also good to know you don't have any preference for genders as this is one of the reasons why gender inequality abounds. Thanks for sharing.
