**SEC15 WK3: "Growing up in a Rural or Urban Area"**
Rural and Urban areas are two different residential places that are characterized by varying levels of the availability of resources. These may be because of the closest of governance to those places or some form of attraction that draws government attention to it may be because of the mineral resources or other endowments.
They have continued to serve human purposes depending on our choice, preference, and class. But most importantly, one has continued to be more pronounced for its ability to bring satisfaction to the everyday needs of its dwellers. Lets, 's dive into the unfolding events of the day.

Differentiate between urban and rural areas stating three major features |
---|
No matter how we may want to prove how important both places may seem to us, it is good to note their differences using these sub-headings.
- Population Index:
Many factors have made this an obvious act. Rural-urban migration is one word that has left the rural areas less and the urban centers gaining more population. In a bid to search for greener pastures, rural dwellers continue to find means of survival and hence migrate from rural to urban areas. Hence the population in urban areas tends to be larger than what is seen in rural areas.
-Availability of jobs:
Due to the lean resources found in the rural areas, there are fewer or no developmental and company existence in those places to cater for job employment. Most jobs found here are agrarian and more persistent, unlike the urban centers. Urban centers have more job opportunities when compared to rural areas. This is simple, there are favorable factors that facilitate this huge investment that create more jobs in the urban areas.
- Availability of infrastructure:
Urban areas are the most favorable in this aspect as there is more infrastructural development, unlike the rural areas. There are more accessible roads, availability of utilities, and other facilities that promote an easy human existence. These may be because of the proximity of governance and government attention because of the availability of resources or the potential to generate more revenue from its environment.
Which area did you grow up and why? |
---|
Hahaha, the area where we grew up is mostly not in our making as kids. They are decisions made by our parents or by circumstances. In this context, I am a mixed breed given my stay in both areas. We were born in the urban areas and in no distant time we found ourselves in the rural areas due to circumstances.
We were bereaved and this made us relocate for some time to the rural areas to allow us to get better in life. Therefore, my stay in those places was primarily the decision of my parents and not mine.
If you were told to go to the area you didn't grow up from, will you? |
---|
I have survived both areas and ddifferentiatingeaving and surviving in either of those areas isn't a big deal for me. Therefore, asking me to stay in any of those areas would be an easy ride for me and my siblings as well.
What things are there in the area you grew up from that aren't in the other? |
---|
Though I've stayed more in the urban areas than the rural areas, I can vividly say that there are more enhanced prospects in them, unlike the rural areas.
The urban areas have more infrastructural development unlike what the rural areas are seen to have. More accessible roads, life facilitating utilities like light and clean water are all available.
The urban centers have more presence of companies and industries which are great potentials for job creation unlike what we see in the rural areas.
Thank you...
I'm inviting @ruthjoe, @chilaw, @hisgeneral.
Upvoted. Thank You for sending some of your rewards to @null. It will make Steem stronger.
Maybe we relate sir a little sir, I've also survived in both areas just like you do, it is true that Jobs are available in urban area because of development and the big company have put greenlight to urban area more than rural areas, rural areas are mainly for agriculture yeah a lot of cool cash has been made through farming in the rural area.
What I mean is that, no matter where we are we can still make the best out of there, it depends on our mindset and hard work.
You've share with us an important lessons in your post, good luck sir.
@xbool24 hola

Thank you for the invite sir..I definitely put in my entry shortly.
I would like to say indeed there is wide difference between the rural and the urban areas, and for you to have survived in both areas shows a high degree of adaptation and courage. I applaud you for a job well done with your entry. All the best.
Thank you for your adaptation accolades. It is good to have tested both environments given their uniqueness. Nice seeing you turn up once again.
Yeah our parents are the one to determine where we stay. Growing up in the both urban and rural area is not a bad thing.
Life can be twisted some time that can make us to do or go where we never wish to but all the same nothing spoil.
