**SEC S15W6: Meeting With the Steem4Nigeria Community Management**
It is another great moment and the last week of the season. I must commend everyone for their show of love for the community. Steem4nigeria may not be the best country community in the platform but given the time of creation relative to the antecedents so far, we remain at the top for as all indicators are concerned. Let's get started...
How well do you know about the community @steem4nigeria? How did you get to know the community? What do you know the community for? |

Steem4nigeria is my home and I have known the community from the start till date. I was privileged to be among the founding members of this great and noble community which was created 2 years ago. It was an opportunity to see it nurtured from its teething stage to what everyone would want to celebrate.
When we started this community, we were six (6) users in number and we all doubled as both admins and moderators until we had to make our first recruitment that onboard the first set of mods we had. Some today are Steem Representatives though no longer with the community administration, others as community curators, etc.
The community has continued to evolve from one stage to another and all these were for positive impact as we continued to put in measures that were user-oriented and as well tailored for productivity. Some seemed harsh while others came with a subtle approach.
A community that regards everyone who posts and engages in it as one. Steem4nigeria management has prioritized active users of the community other than members alone. We believe friends who engage actively with us need to be encouraged just as Nigerian members. This can be testified from the different community projects.
My noble steem4nigeria community stands for fairness and inclusiveness to all users. Delivering and administering to concerns with a sense of humanity is our goal.
So far, has the management of this community been doing what you expected? |

I will base my point on the goal-driven ideology of the platform. I believe that quality and consistency are some of the criteria for standing tall in the ecosystem. There are conditions to some of the ongoing programs executed by the steemit team and they come with a price.
No unserious community makes the booming selection irrespective of their status as this shows during community assessment. Steem4nigeria community had continued to enjoy the Tier-2 level booming support after dropping from its Tier-1 category. This is a sign of improvement and value to us and we also appreciate this fit
More so, the SEC selection is a keenly contested one that gives some caps to the community that makes the list. Steem4nigeria has continued to enjoy the largesse of this opportunity earned from a concerted community effort.
I can not forget the turnouts we receive from newcomers in the community. There is a coordinated effort to train and retrain both new and existing users in a WhatsApp group-themed Learning Center.
Do you have any recommendations, suggestions, or ideas for the steem4nigeria community on how best to grow the community to the next level? If NO, highlight our strengths & how to consolidate them. |

We don't need to lose guard on existing achievements as the benefited programs mentioned above are a going concern and do not ride on past glory. Therefore, some of the hard work we do to achieve this fit should be maintained.
As one of the admins, my implementable ideas are already in place with a robust moderation that complements what we do. I believe hearing from others this time is the goal.

My appreciation would firstly go to my lovely teammates who have proven to be the best. I will continue to celebrate these users which for me is a way of motivating them. We can't remove the power of word of mouth to ensure we are motivated to do more.
Ensuring that the team receives stipends or rewards once in a while would also serve or improve productivity no matter how little this is done. And as well as incentivizing hard work during moderation.
Attracting more delegation in the community to improve support is another way of supporting the community. A community with more delegation should be able to support participation through upvotes.
