My Business Review Contest: A Telco Outlet

Welcome ladies and gents of this noble community. It is another free moment to share my business review as presented before us. Business ventures are usually the lifewire of small and medium-scale activities within our local environment. They are usually the main targets of the government's first layer of intervention when properly done.

I will be bringing to us a business review in the telecommunication sector. My business review is on an outlet that carries out acquisition activities within its environment. Each time when we mention telecommunication activities, it cuts across along some parameters.

This outlet is located somewhere in the southeastern part of the country, precisely in Aba, Abia state. This outlet in Osisioma is well situated at the heart of the town and fortunately within the just constructed flyover and the only landmark of this kind in the town and state.

Telecommunications businesses have almost the same SKUs on which they rally around. Since they share the same kind of products, it is known to have the same kind of activities done in them. Let me list some of these products and make some reviews on them.

• Recharge Card
• Sim Card
• 4G-MIFI /Router Device

Recharge Card has the very first point of manual credit top-up for mobile device users before its alternative of electronic recharge. It is always the last hope of the common man who may neither have access to the internet to use the electronic platform nor have the technical know-how to use those platforms. Hence the use of paper or manual recharge cards remains its best option.

There are different recharge denominations sold in this outlet. For the brands, we have GLO, MTN, 9MOBILE, & Airtel recharge cards. Each of these brands has the 100 (0.22steem), 200 (0.44steem), 500 (1.12steem), and 1000 (2.24steem) recharge units in common. And those are the commonly found denominations in this outlet.

	Router Device

The second is the 4G-MIFI /Router Device. This is the lifewire of every telecommunication company that views data as the world's next level to customer satisfaction. With this device, one can improve data usage at a faster speed vis-a-vis when using an ordinary mobile device.

The GLO router device officially goes for 19,000 NGN (42.4steem) but retailed for about 25,000 NGN to 30,000 NGN (55.8 to 66.9 steem) in this shop. Whereas the pocket or movable MIFI device officially sells for 9,000 NGN (20.09steem) but retails for about 13,000 to 15,000 NGN (29.01 to 33.48 steem).

Last but not the list is the SIM CARD. Without this simple device inserted into our phones, we may be unable to make or receive calls. Both the MiFI device and the recharge all need the sim card to either receive value or complete its function.

The sim card has remained the backbone of activities in the telecommunication company. The more acquisitions done simply means the more revenue anticipated. Promos are done, and road shows with DJ hype are staged for this purpose to woo potential subscribers to pick up the SIM card.

The SIM card is sold for between 500 too 1000 NGN (1.12 to 2.24 steem) for one. Sometimes, these sim cards go for a zero NGN just to have more subscribers on our way. But when it is done, the subscribers are obligated to make instant recharge top-ups into the sim cards.
