Hello friends i'm back again to write to you guys, an educational post once again. Today i want to talk about first aid, whenever a person is involved in a serious accident, there are neccessary actions taken to avoid over bleeding, because loss of blood can lead to death. Lets talk more about this.

First aid

We all know that first aid can be defined as the simple medication given as soon as possible to someone who is hurt or someone who is involved in a fatal accident.
There are some aims and objectives for first aid and they are;

1. To save life
2. To prevent injury from getting worst
3. To reduce pains as much as possible.

Below are some accidents that need first aid treatment:

1. Cuts: Cuts occur when the skin is opened or punctured by sharp objects like knives, broken bottles, glasses, scissors or any sharp object.

2. Bruises: A bruise occurs when one is given a blow with sufficient force, so there is bleeding under the skin without breaking it.

3. Fire accidents: Fire accidents are caused by inflammable liquids and electrical appliances are very disastrous

4. Chemical burn:This is caused by either by naked electric wire or careless handling of electrical appliances.
   NOTE: Accidents are known as unforeseen turn of events.

Application of first aid

1. Make sure there is no further danger to the casualty
2. Stop bleeding before any other thing
3. In case of poison make the victim to vomit
4. Do not allow the casualty to see his/her own injury

Principle

1. Do first things first,quickly,quietly and without panic
2. Make sure to stop bleeding before any other thing
3. Give artificial respiration if breathing
4. Provide fresh air
5. Arrange for the careful removal of the patient to the hospital

The first aid box is a box that contains all the materials used to give medical treatment to injured personnel.
