Hello friends in @steem4Nigeria, how are you all doing? Iam glad to participate in this contest, because it is really painful to see my country in a critical condition. I hope you will enjoy reading my manifesto.

MY MANIFESTO

The office of a president is a very important one, because the president is responsible for security, welfare and affairs of the people in the country. He/she ensures that his subjects are satisfied to some extent, despite the fact that human wants are insatiable. At least he must meet the important needs of the nation and ensure that it is in a good State.

I strongly believe that i can handle this position, despite the fact that iam a lady, because whatever a man can do, a woman can do it even more better. Veronica Michelle Bachelet Jeria who was born in year 1951 in the month of September 29th, in Santiago, Chile was elected as the president of Chile in (2006-2010 and 2014-2018), she was able to reduce poverty and also improved early childhood education in her country. Nigeria has suffered a lot of crisis and right now it is in a critical condition, so it needs an immediate intervention of a saviour in the case of;

• Insecurity
• Unemployment/low paying jobs
• Education
• High cost of commodities and services

And i know i am that saviour that will draw it out of this pit.
The case of "INSECURITY" is of a high rate, and it has distablized the peace of this nation and it's citizens. It citizens are in fear that the country is no longer a safe place, and if they can have their ways they will if not all immigrate to another country. For its citizens to be killed in a church which is known to be a safe place, it actually means that even their homes are not safe. Therefore, in a bid to curb out the problem of insecurity, i will devise a means of importing strong and sophisticated weapons and trackers from Isreal and America, weapons that are stronger than that of the insurgents. And then i will also seek for help from the US president for proper training of my militants. After i must have done all, then i will equip them with these weapons and send them out to the camps of the enemies of my country. I believe that at least when many of them goes down, others will take correction. Secondly, i will ensure that every state in my country is properly secured by the trained militants.

The problem of "UNEMPLOYMENT/LOW PAYING JOBS" is alarming in the country, for one to get a well paying job, he/she will have to pay some ransoms, before he/she will get the job. Today so many graduated youths are either riding bike or tricycles(Keke), POS and other minial jobs that hardly pay them what they expected to be earning as a graduate. As a result, they do all they could to immigrate to other countries. Nigeria has lost a lot of brain drained youths to other countries due to its inability to meet up to their standards.

The Nigeria Education system is threatened by the issues of strike and insufficient educational facilities. Many Universities and secondary schools are suffering lack of comfortable classrooms and teaching facilities. In some Universities students share a particular equipment during their projects, all because these equipments are not provided for them. Many have to move out of their schools to rent equipments for their projects, which cost them a lot of money. Secondly, strike has eaten deep into the school system of Nigeria, due to the fact that governments have failed to evenly distributed to the lecturers and university staffs their monthly renumerations for the services they offer.

To solve these problems as the president of Nigeria, i will purchase good and quality educational facilities for all the universities under my power, build comfortable classrooms and lecture halls for secondary schools and universities that are under my power. Secondly, i will budget a particular amount of finances for educational maintenance and lastly i will ensure that the lecturers, university staffs, school teachers are properly paid, i will do all these because i know that our children are the future of our country.

Another problem in Nigeria is the daily rise in the prices of commodities and services, which has made it impossible for many Nigerians to properly feed and pay rents. To solve this problem, i will use a direct control method to reduce the high cost of commodities in Nigeria markets. Firstly, i will carryout a proper survey to check if the monetary policy tool that is designed to stop the high cost of commodities is properly applied. I will also create agencies that will be in charge of checking the price at which goods and services are sold, if they are sold according to the stipulated prices.
