Contest: Not All Heroes Wear Capes
Thanks @sahmie for this wonderful contest, I'm happy to participate and I would love to invite @bossj23, @zekanem and @johnmitchel to participate in this contest as well.
What do I understand by the word "Hero"? |
---|
It's not just about the flashy cloths or super powers. A hero is anyone who does good things for others, without expecting any prize in return. It's about being kind, brave, and helpful. A hero selflessly acts with courage and compassion to make a good impact, portraying values that motivate others.
What do I think makes someone a hero, whether they wear a cape or not?. |
---|
Heroes don't just exist in movies, They are real people living in our neighborhoods, families and schools. True heroism lies in everyday sympathy, kindness or the small deeds a person portrays to others, their true essence lies in their ability to contribute positively to the well being of people around them.
How do we encourage more acts of heroism in our communities? |
---|
We don't have to wait for super heroes to always come to our rescue or to the rescue of people around us, you too can become a super hero, fostering a sense of sympathy and selflessness is key. We need to be nice and understanding to people around us, and that is how we make an hero out of ourselves.
Do I believe that anyone has the potential to be a hero? Why or why not? |
---|
Of course. Heroism is not limited to a few individuals only, it lives within any individual capable of love for one another, sympathy and kindness. Anyone can become a hero in their own special way, all we need do is to show love towards one another and we don't need capes or any other super power to change the world.
If I could be a hero without a cape, what positive change would you make? |
---|
To be honest if I could be a hero without a cape, I would do my best towards promoting environmental sustainability, it could be by helping to keep my city clean or growing big trees to make our air better. Little acts like this have huge impacts, and this is definitely what being a hero is all about.
Conclusion |
---|
Let's be true with ourselves ,life can be difficult at times. But the little good we do for each other, adds up to the betterment of things around us. We become heroes for good things, not relying on someone else to fix things for us. No capes required, just willingness to do this things. So when next we see people doing good, we applaud them it encourages them to do more, they may not have capes, but they surely make the world a better place to live in.
We all are heroes, we don't need capes to prove it, our simple act of kindness proves it for us, keep doing good, for your reward is in heaven
