IT IS BETTER TO BE LATE THAN TO BE LATE

In a more realistic form, it is very true that; it is better to be late at something than to be rather dead. This very statement has in a way or the other sparked up many memories in my head. sometimes we would say life itself to some extent is not being fare to us, but still in the mist of hardship, pain, anguish, emotional and mental stress, it will still be better if we live and hope for better days rather than just die because as the saying goes; "when there is life, there is hope". On this note, I will like to share a story of a man in my area who was kidnapped by kidnapper and later released after making him to pass through hell.

MAN WHO WAS KIDNAPPED

There's this young man living in thesame area as me who's name is Josiah. Josiah is a business man who got married to a very beautiful lady named Rachel. They're both happily married and things were going very smoothly for them. Aside from the fact that they are living comfortably and doing well people like them so much because of how they help other people financially even with the little they have especially Josiah him self.

On this faithful day, Josiah went to his business place as well as the wife Rachel went to her work place and when it was evening, Rachel came back expecting to see Josiah soon not knowing something bad had happened. It was 11pm and now the clock ticked even faster but Josiah was no where to be found and that was where Rachel knew that something has happened. Immediately, she called his sales workers to confirm if there's anything holding him in the shop but they replied that thier boss had left for home since around 6pm when they closed for the day. Now the trouble was even more and she tried to reach out to his friends and other close by family members but they all didn't have an idea where he was.

After a day passed, a call from an unknown number came in and behold she heard her husband's voice who was in distress and one of the kidnapper spoke to her telling her that her husband is with them. They demanded for 20million and gave a deadline of 2weeks for the money to be paid in cash or else Josiah wouldl be a dead man.

Now Rachel had to start looking for money by every possible mean because though they were living comfortably but do not have up to such amount anywhere. For two weeks timeline Josiah's people was still not able to raise such money to bail him out of the hands of the kidnappers and effort to plead for price reduction was to no avail. At exactly two weeks time, the kidnappers called again and since the money was not complete they shot Josiah a bullet on his leg.

On hearing a gunshot, Josiah's wife Rachel thought he has been shot dead and she screamed in so much agony. Day after days the pain grew even worst. Rachel was about to take a poison called snipper when one of her friends that comes around to see her caught her and got rid of the poison.

On Josiah's own path, Josiah has been shot for almost a week without treatment or even good food to eat. The leg on which he was shot was swollen and smelling with live maggots on it, and at this point Josiah prayed for death to come he even think of killing him self at some point.

Since the kidnappers was not able to get the random they requested for , they wanted to sell his body parts to ritualist but some how i guess because of the way his leg smells and surely with God's intervention, he was released and allowed to go.

Josiah was helped by some villagers to get back home. His wife who almost killed her self and every other person around when he came back were all in tears when they set eyes on Josiah again. It's is really a painful experience but thank God at last he is still alive. They are now living very fine and are back to there feet again

CONCLUSION

On this note I am confirming the fact that "it is better to be late than to be late" because had it been Josiah and his wife acted fast in killing there self's during the trying time they would have had another opportunity to see each other and live happily again. And the should serve as a serious lesson for us that we should always rather be late in anything at all that to be late(dead).

Thank you all for reading through, I hope to see more touching and interesting stories like this on this contest and I want to invite@solexybaba @gidsbrown and @samuelebuke to participate in this Contest. Thank you once again, See you at the top💪
