My Neighborhood Watch #13 - Reporting Events Around us

Hi pals, it already is week 13, how quick time flies.
Today I'm here again to participate in this week's report of my neighborhood watch by @xkool24.

It really is a beautiful idea to organise this series as it can help us watch and conquer the ills in our neighborhood. Let's dive right into the happenings of my neighbourhood. I beseech you follow my lead. 😆

Events around me

Today's a bright sunny day thanks to God, at least I won't worry about flying over the puddles of water that litter my streets just to get my needs from the convenience store nearby. And the streets would be more pedestrian friendly.

Our street is quiet except for this church close by that insists on shaking my roof with its loud speakers (no offense though 😌). I can feel headache already, one of the benefits of an estate I told myself. But this is my neighbourhoid, so I'll cherish it as it is.

The children are at school and oh yes school finally resumed this week, so all kids are at school and won't be back until the next hour. The dogs and livestocks and a few pedestrians are the only ones who patrol the once during the holidays very lively streets.

The hood seems to be at peace, there's no fights or quarrels or useless debate or drunkards abusing each other. Everyone is either going about their business, tending to their gardens, or simply at home watching with surroundings with eagle eyes. Guess the country difficult economic situations has really put a leash on some habits.

There has been no vehicular movement for the past 45 minutes and it's midday as at now, so the sun is at its peak. And oh I forgot to include the phone repairer who works opposite us has bought a new generator and is now giving the community soft afrobeats, though it's definitely not as loud as the church speakers. I guess his place is now filled with extension sockets as there has been no public electricity for three days now. Hopefully he reserves a spot for me.😆

I'll stop here, it's time to prepare lunch before the kids come back from school😁😁.
