SEC S15W5: "My Country and Her Mineral Resources."
I would say literally everything on the earth that is not artificially manufactured by man is a natural resource. This is because I believe that without the existence of the Earth and all the resources in it, artificial intelligence would be impossible.
Though, among all these resources made available by nature, there are some that tend to be rare or specifically popular in only some parts of the world. They are oil, coal, natural gas, stone especially precious stones etc.

My country is Nigeria, the giant of Africa. Just as the afore stated must have already given away, indeed Nigeria is an African country with different people from the many ethnic groups present here.
It is a beautiful place with amazing people but under a very unstable government and facing a dire economic situation despite these, my country, Nigeria still manages to stand out among other African Nations and world wide.
Speaking on Natural resources, just like most African countries, Nigeria is richly blessed in this aspect.

There are many natural resources Nigeria is popular for, the most common of them all is crude oil, which is later refined into many useful products.
There are also resources like; natural gas, tin, iron ore, coal, limestone, niobium, lead, zinc and arable land in my country.
Nigeria has been blessed with many natural resources but the effective use of all these resources is the problem we are facing in the country today.

Well, crude oil for one is the major natural resource generating income for the country. This is the reason why any problems with crude oil always affects the economy of the nation.
But even at that, there are many instances of fuel scarcity in Nigeria despite the fact that we have crude oil as our major export product.
The other natural resources are given little or no reasonable attention as the economy of the country has become totally dependent on crude oil.
Hopefully, eventually, one day, we will able to generate diversity in the income if the nation.

Considering the use of the various available resources in the country to carter for the well being of the citizens, this is a rather sensitive topic of discussion in Nigeria.
States that have been marked to possess crude oil in their soils are suffering from little or no compensation from the government. Their lands are corroded with oil and hence they can't farm any crops.
This has led to many riot by the youths involving protests and pipeline vandalization. If the main occupants of these lands are barely being supported enough then there's no need to talk more on the other citizens of the country.
Though, bribery and corruption play a very big role in all these. Before anything reaches the masses it has definitely passed through "hands"
Nigeria is indeed a great country, one that I am proud of at least most of the time but we are facing many challenges that we would definitely overcome.
I believe as we strive harder we will only get better and one day bad governance will be just a past.

I totally agree with you. When we talk about natural resources, we are referring to everything that comes from the Earth and is not made by humans. So things like water, air, plants, animals, minerals, and even things like sunlight and wind. All of these things are considered natural resources because they exist naturally in our environment. Without these resources, things like artificial intelligence would not even be possible. We rely on the Earth and its resources to create and sustain the technology and advancements we have today. It's pretty amazing when you think about how everything is interconnected.
