One of the tales that always made my childhood
memorable was about tortoise story, I so much love to listen to the tortoise 🐢 story because it gives me many ways to understand life
.

It was once upon a time in the land of animals, there was no food to eat for some years, to the extent that the animals began to die of hunger,
So they king 👑 of all the animals which is the lion called them for a meeting so that they can discuss on how to stop the hunger in there land,
So all they animals gathered, and they started the meeting, when they meeting was on the king asked them welther anyone one of them can give a suggestion on what the should do in other to get food, all the animals where keeping quiet 🤫 on till when they tortoise stood up and said " they should be eating from house to house by eating there mother, and all the animals agreed on tortoise decision, after that day tortoise went and build a house for her mother on top of a long tree, Then he also gave her mother a rope so that any time he sings a song she throw down the rope and tortoise will see her, they next day all they animals went to the lion's house and they all ate her mother like wise other animals did as the lion did and they all were satisfied and the even carried some of the remaining once home
,

Then at this time it was tortoise turn to bring her mother, and he told them that he can't find her mother, and they all were angry at him, and other animals went for a meeting to no where the tortoise always go during evening period,

Then the following day the tortoise decided to visit her mother, then he started going not knowing that other animals were following him,
When he got to that tree that her mother was, then he started singing the song he normally sing [mother throw down the rope, mother throw down the rope] then she throw down the rope, and when tortoise was climbing the rope other animals joined him and he was surprised to see them and they ate her mother as well
.

🌜 Do you think it is wise to share tales with children? Yes/No. Back your answer with good reasons.

For me I will say yes it is 100% right to teach children tales,
Reasons because it has some many ways of bonding a family together.

Firstly it helps to teach children moral lesson when I mean by moral lesson is just because if you listen carefully as they tales is been told to you, definitely you will grab one or two things that will help you in life.

Secondly it makes kids happy and it also makes them Keep quiet 🤫.

🌜 From your childhood tales, what are the moral lessons that you still uphold to date?

Basically the moral lessons that I'm still upholding till now are.
• my teacher then always told us not to be greedy, why because it may lead us in to something that we may regret in life, and since I'm not a gready type.

• it is not good to betray your fellow human being, using this my story as a case they tortoise betrayed other animals by doing against their agreement unfortunately for him the also ate his mother, so that is why there is no gain in betraying someone or a group of people.

🌜To what extent were moonlight tales appealing to you as a child?

kid-7152758_1280.jpgsource

Well it was very interesting to me to the extent I always go to my neighbors house, which he was my teacher in school, even at times I sleep over at his place because of the tales , and looking at what he teaches us at that time it always seems as if it was real stories.

CONCLUSION

having done with this contest I will like to also say that tales are good to be shared among the young people, just as I said before it makes them understand life the other way round, what mean by the other way round is by using animals to tell them stories, and I will like to use this opportunity to meation my friends to also participate in this contest, @josepha, @richy20 and @ngoenyi , once again thanks for reading through this post.

Thanks for your wonderful comment on my post,

"Woohoo! 🎉 Great post, my friend! 😊 It's wonderful that you shared a story from your childhood that still resonates with you today. I loved the tortoise tale, it was hilarious and also taught us some valuable lessons about sharing and not being greedy! 🐢💡

I completely agree with you, sharing tales with children is an excellent way to teach them moral values and create bonding moments within families. It's amazing how stories can transport us back in time and make us reflect on our experiences.

What stood out to me the most was your connection with your teacher who shared these stories with you. That's such a beautiful memory, and I'm sure it's a testament to the impact that storytelling can have on people's lives.

I'd love to hear more about your favorite tales from childhood! Share another story or two in the comments below, and let's continue this fun conversation! 🤗
