"Growing up in a Rural or Urban Area"

Hello friends,

This is my participation in SEC15 WK3: "Growing up in a Rural or Urban Area" hosted by @steem4nigeria in Steem4Nigeria

I also want to invite my friends,

@leudi @nooruleman and @solperez

As everyone knows that there is a lot of difference between urban areas and rural areas, but now the winds of progress and change have come in rural areas too.

The conditions in rural areas are no longer the same as they were 30-40 years ago.

Differentiate between urban and rural areas stating three major features

Life in urban areas is very fast and hectic, here everyone is in a hurry, there is a lot of crowd in the cities, countless vehicles, tall buildings, pollution, competition to earn money and there is a severe lack of mutual relations here, sometimes even your neighbors do not like you.

You know, especially people living in multi-storey buildings have become confined to themselves and their families. There is a severe lack of common natural things, such as clean air, water, peace, but there are communication systems, road networks, fast-paced life, the Internet, and abundant opportunities for earning money.

On the contrary, the rural areas are very peaceful and without any hustle and bustle, the environment here has pure air and pure water. All the people in rural areas know each other, recognize and also talk to each other.

Here there is lack of means of communication, internet, roads etc., there are also very few opportunities to earn money. Electricity supply is also very important in some villages. The main income here is limited to livestock and farming etc.

Which area did you grow up and why?

My entire upbringing was in an urban area, and it was a coincidence that I have seen many cities in my life and have seen the life there, my father was a government officer and he used to get transferred every 3-4 years. We used to get government accommodation in some good government colony.

And the atmosphere of these colonies was very cordial and peaceful. That is why I have spent almost 16-17 years in such a peaceful and beautiful urban environment.

If you were told to go to the area you didn't grow up from, will you?

Yes, in today's circumstances, if someone tells me that I have to go and settle in a rural area, then I will definitely like to go there, because I have spent my entire life in the hectic life of urban areas.

Now I have a strong desire to live the rest of my life in a peaceful place, full of natural things, with pure air and water, without noise. And of course I would like to go there and live in peace.

What things are there in the area you grew up from that aren't in the other?

In the areas i.e. cities, almost all those facilities were available which were not available at all in rural areas, such as electricity, communication, internet, roads, cleanliness, modern means of entertainment, means of fast transport, television, restaurants, hotels. Cinema halls, clubs, bar rooms, dancing rooms, and many more modern amenities which would take many years to reach rural areas.

Thanks for reading my post .

Salam dear ! You grow up in city due to your father job. I am agree with you city life is fast, crowded, and lacks close relationships. While village areas are peaceful with clean air and water. But provide fewer opportunities. But village life is more peaceful.best wishes for you

hey dear @sur-ritiYour reflection on the urban and rural lifestyle is insightful. Urban areas indeed come with the hustle and bustle competition, and a fast-paced life while rural areas offer peace simplicity and a close-knit community. Your preference for a tranquil rural life after growing up in the urban chaos is understandable. Wishing you a peaceful and fulfilling journey if you decide to make the shift!🌿🏡keep blessing & thanks for inviting me

Greeting Your post on the urban and rural disparities is quite insightful. It's true that urban life is fast-paced and bustling with modern amenities while rural areas offer tranquility and a closer sense of community. Your desire to embrace the peace of rural life after growing up in the urban hustle is understandable. It's fascinating to witness the changing dynamics in rural areas bringing progress and opportunities. Wishing you a fulfilling journey whether in the vibrant city or the serene countryside🌆🌳
