Hello and good morning to everyone in this great community known as the STEEM4NIGERIA Hope we all had a wonderful night rest. today is a great day, I welcome you all to a beautiful day alongside a great contest that has been scheduled by one of the MOD* in the community popularly known as @fredquantum and this contest has been titled a new dap in the ecosystem and as part of the contest rules, I will be providing certain answers to some questions. so ride with me as I begin my entry.

HOW HAVE YOU ENJOYED BLOGGING ON STEEMIT? YOUR EXPERIENCE SO FAR. IS ANYTHING MISSING?

This is a wonderful question that I have ben waiting for a long time ago. well so good, all has been well.

Indeed I am enjoying my blogging on the steemit platform, it has been a wonderful journey so far and with the knowledge I have gathered through various users experience has also added to my blogging skills and the technical knowhow which I have managed to gather through this period is wide and great.

So I am in no doubt enjoying my blogging activities on the steemit platform.

MY EXPERIENCE SO FAR?

Blogging on the steemit platform is epic and as such, users can talk about various activities and experiences about the happening around them and their lives as well.

This is a wonderful approach and with the diversification of writing, we get to see many articles touching different areas of our lives and hence we learn from those article.

Currently, I have learned how to trade by through the experience I got in the crypto academy community and that has to a great extent guides me whenever I want to make a trade. knowing the parameters and things to watch out for before executing a trade.

We also get to see different articles that are very educating from users, also with the introduction of this engagement challenge has made me to know certain users from different countries and we got to know each other better.

That aside, the platform had also helped me to an extent of interacting with people so well through the engagement challenge and seeing different opinions from different users has also made me to understand that every opinion in blogging count.

So in a nutshell, I am really enjoying my blogging activities on the steemit platform and t has been a wonderful ride from the very first beginning of my blogging carrier.

IS ANYTHING MISSING?

Well to me yes. I noticed that the steemit platform do not possess a decentralized application that will make it easy to connect with each other and that is something to talk about the everyday launching of the web browser in tiring and that is what I am hoping to see but nothing as such has been brought into existence.

So for that reason users are not often seen in the platform, so for me that is the only thing that is missing on the steemit blogging platform currently and this on this note, I look forward to seeing a decentralized application soon.

IF YOU'D SUGGEST SOMETHING NEW, WHAT WOULD IT BE?

Well, just as I have mentioned earlier. I will go with suggesting a decentralized application to the steemit blogging platform for this will go a long well in helping not just users but the steemit blogging platform.

With the decentralized application, there will be more participation on the steemit platform. one thing with other decentralized platform is that most of them have an application that helps boost the platform.

Just like Facebook, it has an application that one can easily logged in without taking the browser route and that is interesting to see.

If the steemit blogging platform would provide an application for users, blogging will be much easier and better just like other platforms the interaction and engagement will be greatly seen in the platform and the number of users will also increase so well.

So my take on this question is that, a decentralized application should be developed for us all in other to make our blogging more interesting.\

AS AN INNOVATOR OF THE PROJECT ABOVE, HOW WOULD IT WORK?

The decentralized blogging application is expected to work just the way other application does. it is expected to carry many features just the way we see them on the steemit blogging site.

In fact with the application features, we can see the users online and those offline. we can get vital and quick information about users activities without logging in through the main site.

The application is expected to also have features that will notify us whenever a message pops up, see comments, who replied to our post and who has liked it. with these features the application will carry, it will boost the steemit blogging participation and it will also fascinate more users to come into the platform.

Also note that, if a decentralized application is launched and brought into existence, it will reduce to data consumption to a great level.

And hence only take out less data from our network provider unlike what we are currently experiencing now, before you login, you must have passed through certain gateways such as the google or opera mini browsers and those gateways takes part of your data before you finally arrive at the steemit blogging platform.

So with this application the above issues is likely to be eradicated and we get to see less consumption of our data when blogging on the steemit blogging platform and enhance interaction between users in the platform.

It will also help curators during articles curating, a curator will not have to stress by searching for users who have written contents already because there would be a notification to alert them that a user has written an article using a particular tag. they will know the users who have written an article and then attend to it using the application too.

ARE YOU CONVINCE THAT THE PROPOSED PROJECT WOULD MAKE THE ECOSYSTEM MORE LIVELY?

This project will sure make the platform lively and also promotes the growth of the steemit platform. just take a look at the messenger.

It is meant for interaction, before the invention of the messenger application, interaction on Facebook was quite stressful coupled with the network issue because of traffic but now we can all se that users only login to the Facebook application just to share new feeds and then log out but they are mostly seen on Messenger, interacting with each other.

With that, we all know that it has promoted the Facebook platform to a great extent.

So this approach should be inculcated into the steemit agenda if we want this platform to be more lively and interactive as we always wanted it to be.

So I am certain that when an application is well developed and being introduced in the steemit blogging platform, there would be a great turn up in both numbers and activities of the users in the steemit blogging platform.
