Needs and man are inseperable, as long as we are living, these needs must always arise...

I myself is faced with the obligation to satisfy my needs too, and though it proves really stubborn, i still try to trim my financial spree in spending, the reason being so i do not go a borrowing, because they say, ' he who goes a borrowing, goes a sorrowing'.

So basically, i try to cut my suit according to my size in management and keep track of my spending for review purposes.

I have chosen 7 days for a recap of my finances starting from the 27th day May to 2nd June, 2022.

The things i spent on during this 7 days was :

  • Toiletries

  • Hair products, &

  • Feed items

For clarity sake, i have made these items more practical using the table below, it includes items, price in Nigerian currency (Naira),and the estimated worth in STEEM:

ITEM/EXPENSESPRICE IN NAIRAWORTH IN STEEM

I got these items during these period just within my neighbourhood, there are a thousand stores within trekkable distances so i didn't use transportation and i have been indoors too.

Unfortunately, i have regrets as i went pass my budget, this was the initial list for the week i wrote out:

But as the days rolled out i had to spend on other products too i didn't actually budget for, like the hair products and handcream.

I have learned and think it is wise to always stick to my budget so that i do not lack later on because as it is right now i am short of money because of my out-of-the-line spending.

So it a positive one for me, in the future i will do better by managing my finances more effectively.

I hope you learnt a thing or two too.

25% has been set to @null to burn steem

Many thanks to @steem4nigeria and happy new month.

😀 It's funny how you write your budget on paper, but in the end, you still went beyond it. In a case like this what I do is I take the exact amount to spend to avoid interest in other goods which were not budgeted

Hahaha, i know right? I see that is a wise method, i should adopt, thank you.
