The name of our country is Bangladesh. In 1952, we fought for the Bengali language and got the Bengali language. In 1971, the independent People's Republic of Bangladesh government was formed through the war of independence. Now we are independent citizens of an independent country.
The area of our country is 56000 square kilometers. And our total population is about 20 crores. Our riverine country. There are many rivers in the remote areas of the country. Agriculture is good in our country due to the presence of rivers everywhere.
80% of the country's people are directly or indirectly involved in agriculture. We are now a middle-income country. We all love our country very much.

Bangladesh has many natural resources. Extraction has started from several of them, many are in the initial stage. Besides, many more wells have been discovered. Among the mineral resources that are being extracted, the number of natural gases is high. Several gas wells in Bangladesh produce gas 24 hours a day. Extraction, we use this gas as fuel, we use it in industries, we also have coal mines, gravel mines, etc.

Our country is a country rich in mineral resources. We are particularly rich in natural gas extraction. The energy needs of about 20 million people are met by this gas. The industrial establishments of the country continue their production depending on this gas. We also produce a large amount of coal. It is used to generate coal-based electricity and stone is extracted from different quarries.
Also, several more mines have been found that are waiting to be mined. Our mineral resources are not exhausted. We are constantly mining and using them.

Every mineral resource produced in our country is being used by our government for our money. Let's talk about natural gas for example. This natural gas fulfills the energy needs of about 20 crore people. The government subsidizes 25% of the cost of extracting this gas. This is done for the convenience of the people. The government has been giving us this facility for years.
The government is generating electricity with the facility of gas and distributing that electricity among us. Here the government gives some subsidy.
The government is constantly ensuring gas supply to households and industries.
The government has appointed skilled manpower to carry out these activities. Wherever necessary, expert team advice and assistance are being sought from abroad.
All these are being done to ensure the proper utilization of natural resources. And so that we the people can meet our essential needs.
